    摘要: Disclosed is a developing process on a press of a planographic printing plate material comprising a hydrophilic layer and an image formation layer, which is capable of being developed with water or capable of being developed on a press, the process comprising the steps of (a) supplying dampening water to the planographic printing plate material with a recorded image mounted on a plate cylinder of a press by bringing a dampening roller into contact with the planographic printing plate material while rotating the plate cylinder, and (b) then supplying ink to the planographic printing plate material by bringing an ink roller into contact with the planographic printing plate material to remove an image formation layer unnecessary for printing, wherein in the step (a), the supplied amount of the dampening water is varied.

The process has an aggregating step of adding an aggregating agent composed of a compound having a divalent or trivalent metal element into a dispersion with fine particles of a binder resin dispersed in an aqueous medium, and an aggregation terminating step of adding an aggregation terminating agent into the dispersion. The aggregation terminating agent is composed of a compound having at least one of a structure (1) represented by a formula (1) and a structure (2) represented by a formula (2). In the formulae (1) and (2), R1 to R9 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a hydroxy group or an organic group. At least one of R1 and R4or at least one of R5 and R6 represents a hydroxy group.

Also disclosed is a correction solution used for a planographic printing plate, containing a hydrophilic resin and/or hydrophilic particles, wherein the correction solution further contains solid particles having an average particle diameter of 0.5-5 μm.
