摘要: There are disclosed a digital device in compliance with UPnP and its telecommunication method for restructuring a device description in accordance with a change of arrangements of own digital devices, such as a change of connection of extended peripheral devices, for example, and transmitting and reflecting a restructured device description to other digital devices. It is determined whether or not a change for the peripheral device of the own digital device is made by referring to a device information table stored in a memory for storing information for the peripheral device included in the own digital device. If it is determined that there is a change for the peripheral devices as a result, the device description is obtained and further a device name of the peripheral device associated with the change is obtained from the device information table. Then, the device description is updated by executing a procedure for information for the device description based on the obtained device name. Information for indicating a location for storing the updated device description, such as a new advertise message describing URL, for example, is transmitted from the own digital device to a network.

摘要: The present invention improves user-friendliness and protect content with increased reliability when judging whether network devices belong to the same home network. While the connection to a network is established, each network device uses a peripheral device information collection unit to collect peripheral device information indicating which ones of devices are connected to the network, and store the collected information in a peripheral device information storage unit as home network information. When the belonging of a remote device is to be judged, the home network information stored in the remote device is received. A peripheral device information collation unit collates the received home network information with the home network information stored in the peripheral device information storage unit to judge whether the remote device belongs to the same network as the local device.

摘要: There is a need for providing a communication data processor easily adaptable to network configurations required for industrial Ethernet. The apparatus successively analyzes received packets. The apparatus uses a register to determine whether or not to transmit the received packet as transmission data to another port. Rewritable memory saves a program code that provides control for analyzing a reception packet and generating a transmission packet. The apparatus is capable of complying with various communication protocols by changing the program code.

摘要: The invention provides a stream data control module which can easily achieve a function expansion of a digital device and can simply, safely and inexpensively realize the recording and reproducing of stream data for a storage device. A stream data control module includes a stream I/F unit exclusively inputting and outputting stream data, a non-stream I/F unit inputting and outputting non-stream data, a device I/F unit providing an interface to data storage means, and a control unit executing a transfer process of the stream data in response to a recording command and a reproducing command given from host means. The control unit has a stream arrangement management unit managing a storing position of the stream data in the data storage means, a scheduling unit controlling a transfer order of the stream data and the non-stream data, and a command processing unit interpreting various commands given from the host means.

摘要: A cellular phone which is easy to use featuring a sufficient degree of safety preventing unauthorized use by conducting a minimum degree of required authentication operation which is not perceived by the user. As the user holds the cellular phone 1 by hand, the control unit 12 issues an instruction to temperature obtaining units 15 to start detecting the temperature. The temperature obtaining units measure the temperature at regular intervals, and successively transfer the obtained temperature data to a temperature comparator unit 16. The temperature comparator unit judges whether the temperature data obtained by the temperature obtaining units are lying within a predetermined condition, and issues an instruction to biodata obtaining units 19 to obtain fingerprint data of the user depending upon the result of judgement. The biodata obtaining units obtain the fingerprint data of the user and transfer the obtained fingerprint data to a biodata authentication unit 20. The biodata authentication unit compares the obtained fingerprint data with the fingerprint data of the owner stored in a biodata storage unit 21, and judges whether the user is the proper user.
