Data can be removed and stored by copying and moving data recorded on the HDD onto these removable media or in the direction opposite thereto. When vibrations occurs on a recording medium inserted into the HDD, DVD drive, and BD drive due to foreign elements, a copy or movement of data tends to fail. To solve the problem, provided is an apparatus or method including a portable power source, a recording unit for recording information on a removable medium and a built-in medium, a dubbing unit for copying or moving data therebetween, and a detector for detecting acceleration, wherein when the acceleration detected by the detector has a predetermined value, the dubbing unit operates between the recording media.
