Therefore, the present invention is a charge management server which stores use number data relating to a use number for a user, and a group of files for supply to the aforementioned user, performs authorization to permit or refuse connection on the basis of individual information relating to the user as transmitted by the game device operated by the user, receives a file transmission request sent by a game device having undergone the aforementioned authorization process, transmits a particular file as specified by the aforementioned file transmission request to the aforementioned game device, receives a confirmation message sent by said game device having completed reception of the aforementioned particular file, and updates the use number data of the aforementioned user.

摘要： A computer system having a plurality of operating systems and a module for switching the operating systems in view of priorities of tasks to be performed by each of the operating systems. Each of the operating systems performing a plurality of processes or threads in accordance with the priorities assigned to these processes or threads has a module for notifying the computer system of the priority of the currently executing process or thread. The computer system includes a module for translating the priorities sent from each operating system into priorities (normalized priorities) common-throughout the computer system, and a module for comparing the normalized priorities obtained by the priority translation module in order to select and execute preferentially the operating system having a common priority higher than that of any other operating system.

摘要： An operation site has copy management information including state information that is used when executing a remote copy. The copy management information is stored in a storage device included in each of all storage device subsystems in this computer system. The copy management information is updated every time a remote copy is executed. When the operation site fails, by use of a copy management program in another operatable site, and with reference to the copy management information stored in the storage device of the storage device subsystem in each site, the copy is executed from a point to which the copy processing has progressed before the failure. As a result, when the production site in which an application is operated suffers from a disaster, it is possible to quickly recover data at the time of the disaster by executing a disaster recovery management program from another site in which no failure occurs, and then by restarting the remote copy.

A retaining distance of the retaining projection relative to the retaining portion of the elastic retaining arm is larger than a gap between the elastic retaining arm and the arm restraint rib in the engaged condition.

摘要： A computer system of a multi-operation-system (multi-OS) has a main memory having a memory area for a first OS and a memory area for a second OS, both the areas being independent from each other, and a plurality of I/O devices divisionally allocated to the first OS and the second OS. The first OS is loaded in the first OS memory area, and thereafter when the first OS is operated, the second OS is loaded in the second OS memory area and initialized. When the first OS is operated, the first OS hardware resources and the second OS hardware resources are registered by the first OS. Thereafter when the first OS is operated, the first OS inhibits the registration of an interrupt number already allocated to the second OS I/O device. In response to an interrupt request from a second OS I/O device, the second OS starts operating.
