    摘要: An analyzing means first calculates the blur direction and blur level of a digital photograph image based on edge widths and histograms of the edge widths obtained in each direction, and discriminates whether the image is a blurred image or a normal image. Then, it further calculates the camera shake level and blur width for the image discriminated to be a blurred image. A parameter setting means sets a one-dimensional correction mask and a two-dimensional correction mask based on the blur width. It also sets a correction level based on the blur level. It further makes an adjustment to the ratio between the one-dimensional and two-dimensional correction masks based on the camera shake level.

    摘要: Saturation to white and fading of subjects' faces are prevented when performing density correction on digital images. An average signal value, obtained from a photographic image, is compared against a predetermined reference value, to judge whether correction is to be administered to brighten or darken the photographic image. A corrected image constituted by corrected signal values, which are obtained by correcting the pixel signal values of the photographic image with a predetermined correction amount, is generated only in cases that it is judged that correction to brighten the photographic image is to be administered. At this time, if the brightness represented by signal values of pixels of the photographic image are greater than or equal to a predetermined brightness, the correction amount is gradually reduced as the signal values become brighter.

    摘要: Appropriate deblurring is carried out on a partially blurry image. Edge detection means detects edges in 8 directions in a reduced image, and block division means divides the reduced image into 16 blocks. Analysis means analyzes images in the blocks based on edge characteristic quantities thereof, and judges whether each of the block images is a blurry image. The analysis means obtains a width of blur, a degree of shake, and a direction of blur in each of the blurry block images as blur information, and parameter setting means sets parameters for correction based on the blur information. The parameter setting means also sets a correction strength in such a manner that the strength becomes larger as the width of blur becomes larger, according to the width of blur in the blur information.

    摘要: When the same subject is to be imaged consecutively plural times, a radiation imaging device is controlled so as to change an imaging time interval between respective imagings according to a set imaging region of the subject. When a chest portion of a subject is to be imaged, a control section designates an image obtained at a second imaging as an image for diagnosis, image quality correction processing is not performed at a first imaging, and an imaging time interval is greatly reduced compared to when other regions are imaged, thereby reducing motion artifacts of an energy subtraction image. When regions other than a chest region are imaged, the control section designates an image obtained at a first imaging as an image for diagnosis, performs image quality correction processing at the first imaging, and an imaging time interval is increased compared to when the chest region is imaged.

A printing order reception apparatus 1 has slots 3A to 3F for inserting therein various types of recording media and a digital camera including a recording medium. The slot 3A for the digital camera has a changeover switch 4 for switching between ordinary printing processing executed at a first position thereof and printing processing according to a predetermined printing condition executed at a second position thereof. When the digital camera is inserted in the slot 3A in a state where the changeover switch 4 is at the second position, the printing processing is carried out according to the predetermined printing condition. When the changeover switch 4 is at the first position, the ordinary printing processing is executed wherein a user specifies an image to print, a print size, and a quantity.
