摘要: A method and apparatus for molding an inflation film even from a thermoplastic resin having a small melt tension, in which a melt resin bubble extruded from an extruder is molded, while controlling a resin temperature of the bubble to a certain temperature range by an air ring provided with a plurality of annular slits for blowing cooling air in a take-up direction of the melt resin bubble and provided at a position at which the melt resin bubble is remarkably expanded, after (a) cooling air is blown to a melt resin bubble from a first air ring provided at the proximity of a die outlet to cool said melt resin bubble; and, then, the bubble is either (i) brought into contact, on the inner surface thereof, with the surface of a stabilizer provided on a die surface, or (ii) is supported in a non-contact state through an air layer, while being taken up.

摘要: The present invention provides a low temperature heat shrinkable film comprising a linear low density polyethylene resin having a short branched chain and a density of 0.935 g/cm.sup.3, and whose film properties are such that the haze value is 5% or less, the heat shrinkages at 90.degree. C. in the M and T directions are 30% or more and 5% or less, respectively, and the shrinkage stress at 90.degree. C. in the M direction is 300 g/mm.sup.2 or more. This transparent film having an excellent low temperature heat shrinkability can be produced by drawing a film of the above-mentioned polyethylene resin between two rolls having a diameter of 200 mm or less at an air gap of 10 mm or less at a draw ratio of 3.0 to 6.0. Further, an inflation film having a multilayer structure can be obtained by press bonding or press bonding and drawing a plurality of films comprising the above-mentioned polyethylene resin. This laminate film has an excellent transparency and strength, and has a uniform film thickness.

摘要: A 10 to 200 .mu.m thick film comprised of high density polyethylene having a density of 0.935 g/cm.sup.3 or more, the high density polyethylene type film having a film surface roughness of 0.001 to 0.15 .mu.m, a coefficient of C axis orientation of the cyrstals in the film (Fc) of 0.10 to 0.50, a difference .DELTA.n of the birefringence of the amorphous portions and crystalline portions in the film of 0.1000 to 0.1070, and a transparency of a haze of less than 10%. Such a film can be produced by passing an original material film through three heating rolls, designated as, for example, the first heating roll (hereinafter referred to as "R.sub.1 "), the second heating roll (hereinafter referred to as "R.sub.2 "), and the third heating roll (hereinafter referred to as "R.sub.3 "), in accordance with the order of the passage of the original material film, at a temperature of R.sub.2 higher than the temperatures of R.sub.1 and R.sub.3 and a temperature of R.sub.2 of 105.degree. C. or more below the melting point of the film, for heat treatment, then cooling the same. The obtained high density polyethylene type film has a superior transparency, a good balance of strength in the M direction and T direction, a remarkably large impact strength, and a large Young's modulus, and thus is suitable for use as a packing film for boxes for cigarettes, caramels, chocolates, etc., chewing gun, candy, and other confectionery.
