Abstract: A system can include a producer device to receive reference data from a reference station. The system can include a queue device to store a reference message, corresponding to the reference data, in a message queue. The system can include a mapping device to store mapping information indicating that the message queue is associated with the reference station. The system can include a consumer device to identify the message queue as being associated with a microservice to be provided to a client device based on a microservice request. The message queue can be identified based on the mapping information. The consumer device can obtain the reference message from the message queue, generate corrections data associated with the client device, and provide the corrections data.

Abstract: A computer device may include logic configured to generate a virtualized environment for a customer; receive a request to provide a route reflector service for the customer; and generate a virtual route reflector on the generated virtualized environment, in response to receiving the request to provide the route reflector service for the customer. The logic may further be configured to establish a Virtual Private Network (VPN) or secure tunnel connection between the generated virtual route reflector and a client router associated with a customer network via a cloud center access system, wherein the cloud center access system connects a cloud center system that includes the computer device to a provider network that includes the client router; and establish a Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) session between the client router and the generated virtual route reflector using the established VPN or secure tunnel connection.

Abstract: A smart shopping container and supporting network perform object recognition for items in a retail establishment. A network device receives a signal from a user device to associate a portable container with a retail application being executing on the user device. The network device receives, from the container, images of a holding area of the container. The images are captured by different cameras at different positions relative to the holding area and are captured proximate in time to detecting an activity that places an object from the retail establishment into the holding area. The network device generates a scene of the holding area constructed of multiple images from the different cameras and identifies the object as a retail item using the scene. The network device associates the retail item with a stock-keeping unit (SKU) and creates a product list that includes an item description for the object associated with the SKU.

Abstract: A bit error generating device includes a light source, an input device, and a control processor. Abstract: A first key management entity (KME) in a mobile edge network engages in quantum key distribution (QKD) with a second KME in a far network to generate a secret cryptographic key that is shared between the first KME and the second KME. The first KME determines a key identifier (ID) for associating with the cryptographic key, and sends the key ID to the second KME for association with the secret cryptographic key at the second KME. The first KME receives a session request from a first session endpoint for a session across at least one of the mobile edge network or the far network. The first KME sends the key ID and the cryptographic key to the first session endpoint for establishing an encrypted session across the at least one of the mobile edge network or the far network.

Abstract: A system for and method of automatic discovery and configuration of network interface devices is presented. A network interface device (NID) may be included a pre-configured maintenance entity end point (MEP), whereby upon use, the NID may begin sending at least one discovery message to a provider edge device, each discovery message including an organizationally unique identifier. The provider edge device may strip the discovery message(s) to determine the message content, which may then be forwarded to a NIS management system. The NID management system may then identify an identification number of the NID, determine where the NID is installed and send any configuration data to the NID via the provider edge device to configure the NID.

Abstract: A master network interface device (NID) receives a first packet flow associated with a particular customer via a first link of a link aggregation group (LAG). The master NID also receives, from a non-master NID, an indication of a second packet flow, associated with the particular customer, that are traversing a second link of the LAG. The master NID applies collective rate limiting criteria to the first packet flow and to the second packet flow, such that the collective rate limiting criteria enforces a SLA rate for the particular customer. The master NID forwards at least some of the first packet flow via the first link, based on the rate limiting criteria as applied to the first packet flow. The master NID also sends, to the non-master network interface device, an indication of the rate limiting criteria as applied to the second packet flow.
