Abstract: An exemplary image generation system accesses a full atlas frame sequence that incorporates a set of image sequences combined within the full atlas frame sequence as atlas tiles. The system generates a first partial atlas frame sequence that incorporates a first subset of image sequences selected from the set of image sequences incorporated in the full atlas frame sequence, as well as a second partial atlas frame sequence that incorporates a second subset of image sequences selected from the set of image sequences. The second subset includes a different combination of image sequences than the first subset and includes at least one image sequence in common with the first subset. The system provides the first partial atlas frame sequence to a first video encoder and the second partial atlas frame sequence to a second video encoder communicatively coupled with the first video encoder. Corresponding methods and systems are also disclosed.

Abstract: An exemplary method includes a first physical computing device of a virtual reality system acquiring, from a capture device physically disposed at a vantage point in relation to a three-dimensional (“3D”) scene, surface data for the 3D scene, the surface data including a first instance of a multi-bit frame, separating the first instance of the multi-bit frame into a most significant byte (“MSB”) frame and a least significant byte (“LSB”) frame, compressing the MSB frame, and transmitting the LSB frame and the compressed MSB frame to a second physical computing device of the virtual reality system by way of the network interface.

Abstract: An exemplary method includes a digital asset management system generating a set of collectible non-fungible digital assets, generating metadata specifying that non-fungible digital assets included the set of collectible non-fungible digital assets are configured to combine together to form a layered scene configured to be presented by a computer system, and recording, in a distributed record configured to track ownership of non-fungible digital assets, ownership information associated with the set of collectible non-fungible digital assets.

Abstract: An illustrative volumetric processing system generates a plurality of point clouds each representing an object from a different vantage point. Based on the plurality of point clouds, the volumetric processing system consolidates point cloud data corresponding to a surface of the object. Based on the consolidated point cloud data for the object, the volumetric processing system generates a voxel grid representative of the object. Based on the voxel grid, the volumetric processing system generates a set of rendered patches each depicting at least a part of the surface of the object. Corresponding methods and systems are also disclosed.

Abstract: An exemplary method includes a digital asset management system sending a non-fungible digital asset from a first computer system to a second computer system. The first computer system and the second computer system may be included in a plurality of computer systems configured to form a distributed record configured to track ownership of non-fungible digital assets. The digital asset management system may further record, in the distributed record, information indicative of the sending of the non-fungible digital asset to the second computer system. A user account associated with the first computer system may retain partial ownership in the non-fungible digital asset after the sending of the non-fungible digital asset to the second computer system

Abstract: An exemplary plurality of system nodes is arranged in a multi-stage modular architecture. A first system node performs a first frame processing task on a first frame of a frame sequence, and a second system node performs a second frame processing task on a second frame of the frame sequence. The first and second system nodes are included respectively, within first and second pipeline stages of the multi-stage modular architecture, and the first and second frame processing tasks are associated with the respective first and second pipeline stages. Subsequent to performing the first and second frame processing tasks, the first and second system nodes transmit the first and second frames to additional system nodes included within subsequent pipeline stages of the multi-stage modular architecture. These transmissions are synchronized so as to be performed within a predetermined threshold time of one another. Corresponding systems and methods are also disclosed.
