    Abstract: A network device receives an indication to establish a session for an internet protocol (IP) service between a first device and a second device, wherein the network device is part of a local network with the first device and another network device. The network device identifies a service tag to include in a service tag field of a session request. The other network device causes the session request that includes an updated service tag to be provided to the second device. The second device provides a session response with the service tag to the other network device, the other network device updates the session response to include the original service tag and provides an updated session response to the network device. The network device causes the session to be established.

    Abstract: An Ethernet protocol data unit (PDU) over 5G service is provided. A network device in a core network stores addresses of advertised subnets, associated with multiple user equipment or customer premises equipment (UE/CPE) devices, in a subnet table that correlates a MAC address of each of the multiple UE/CPE devices to a subnet address. The network device receives an allocation and retention priority (ARP) request over a data link layer. The ARP request indicates an IP address for a target host of a data flow. The network device determines, based on the subnet table and the IP address, a MAC address of one UE/CPE device servicing the host address. The network device sends a directed ARP request to the UE/CPE device using the MAC address, receives in response a target MAC address for the target host, and sends a response to the ARP request with the target MAC address.

    Abstract: A wireless station of a radio access network receives a reselection priority value of a frequency band used when the wireless station is an E-UTRA-NR Dual Connectivity (EN-DC) anchor. The wireless station broadcasts an intra-frequency system information block (SIB) that includes a first Cell Reselection Priority information element (IE) and a first Anchor-cell Reselection Priority IE, wherein the first Anchor-cell Reselection Priority IE includes the reselection priority value of the frequency band used by the wireless station. The wireless station also broadcast an inter-frequency SIB that includes a second Cell Reselection Priority IE and a second Anchor-cell Reselection Priority IE, wherein the second Anchor-cell Reselection Priority IE includes another reselection priority value of another frequency band for another EN-DC anchor. Use of additional anchor-cell priorities enable EN-DC-capable end devices to camp on an anchor cell even when a non-anchor cell has a higher conventional priority than the anchor cell.

    Abstract: A device includes a memory to store a User Equipment Route Selection Policy (URSP) and one or more processors. The one or more processors are configured to: obtain network traffic comprising first network traffic and second network traffic, wherein the second network traffic originates from one or more user equipment devices (UEs); apply the URSP to the network traffic; and in response to applying the URSP, forward protocol data units (PDUs) of the network traffic to either a first tunnel to a first network slice or a second tunnel to a second network slice. The first tunnel and the second tunnel are established from the device to the first network slice and the second network slice over communication paths that include at least a wireless communication link from the device to a radio access network (RAN).

    Abstract: A method, device, and computer-readable medium provide for establishing, by a repeater device, a communication channel with a fixed wireless access (FWA) device; receiving, by the repeater device, reference signals from a wireless station; forwarding, by the repeater device, the reference signals to the FWA device; transmitting, by the repeater device, a first uplink signal from the FWA device using a first transmission power level to the wireless station, wherein the first transmission power level is a predetermined value; receiving, in response to the first uplink signal, transmit power control (TPC) command parameters from the FWA device via the communication channel; adjusting, by the repeater device and based on the first TPC command parameters, the first transmission power level from the predetermined value to an adjusted value; and transmitting, at the adjusted transmission power level, a second uplink signal from the FWA device to the wireless station.
