Abstract: A method for electronically setting the brake force distribution of a desired total braking force in partial braking forces to the axle of a motor vehicle in dependence on the differential slip is provided. The differential slip is detected as the difference of the slip values of a variable representing the slip at the respective axle and is assigned to a relevant pair of axles. One of the axles is selected as a reference axle and the respective differential slip of a pair of axles is determined as the difference of the slip value at the reference axle and of the respective slip value of one of the further axles.

Abstract: A method for monitoring an implementation of an assistance braking specification, requested in an automated fashion by a brake system in a vehicle includes: detecting whether an assistance braking specification which is requested in an automated fashion is present; detecting an actual dynamics variable, the actual dynamics variable including wheel dynamics of at least one wheel of the vehicle and/or of a trailer, the actual dynamics variable being assigned to a wheel which is to be braked as a result of the assistance braking specification which is requested in an automated fashion; determining a reference dynamics variable, the reference dynamics variable including driving dynamics of the vehicle and/or of the trailer; and comparing the actual dynamics variable with the reference dynamics variable. When an assistance braking specification is present: a faultfree implementation of the assistance braking specification which is requested is detected if the actual dynamics variable deviates.

Abstract: A brake valve for a compressed air brake system of a utility vehicle includes a compressed air input configured to connect to a system pressure, a compressed air output configured to connect a brake control line, and at least one sensor configured to determine a brake valve actuation travel of an actuating element of the brake valve with a working interconnection to the brake pedal. The brake valve further includes a characteristic curve memory storing two stored characteristic curves and/or dependences and at least one determination device. The brake valve is configured to output at least two useful sensor signals, a first of which represents a brake valve output pressure and a second of which represents a percentage actuation position of the actuating element. The at least one sensor is configured to generate an actuating signal depending on the brake valve actuation travel of the actuating element.

Abstract: A method for controlling a vehicle deceleration in a vehicle comprising an ABS braking system includes detecting a setpoint vehicle deceleration predetermined by a driver; establishing a maximum deceleration and a minimum deceleration, in each case as a function of the detected setpoint vehicle deceleration; detecting an actual vehicle deceleration; and controlling a brake pressure at wheel brakes of a vehicle axle to be controlled as a function of the detected actual vehicle deceleration by controlling ABS brake valves. Controlling the brake pressure at the wheel brakes of the vehicle axle as a function of the detected actual vehicle deceleration comprises: increasing the brake pressure at the wheel brakes when the actual vehicle deceleration is less than the minimum deceleration, and limiting the brake pressure at the wheel brakes when the actual vehicle deceleration is greater than the maximum deceleration.
