    摘要: An expansion dowel assembly includes an expansion sleeve, an expanding member and a bolt for pulling the expanding member into the expansion sleeve. The expansion sleeve has a leading end and a trailing end with a bore extending between its two ends. At the leading end, the bore is conically shaped and converges toward the trailing end. From the trailing end of the conically shaped section, the bore is cylindrically shaped and extends toward the trailing end to another smaller diameter cylindrically shaped section of the bore. At the transition between the two cylindrically shaped sections there is a stop shoulder which limits the pulling-in action of the expanding member and the radial widening of the expansion sleeve.

    摘要: An expansion dowel assembly includes an axially extending anchor bolt and an expansion sleeve laterally enclosing the bolt. At its leading end, the anchor bolt has an expansion cone displaceable opposite to the insertion direction of the dowel assembly relative to a conically shaped expansion region at the leading end of the sleeve. Initially, the cone angle of the expansion cone is larger than the cone angle of the expansion section of the sleeve. A circumferentially extending annular bead is located on the outer circumferential periphery of the expansion region. The expansion region is slotted in the axial direction and its wall thickness decreases in the circumferential direction toward the slots. At the outset of the sleeve expansion, it is greatly widened and the annular bead is pressed into the surface of the borehole in which the dowel assembly is inserted. As a result, a positive locking engagement is provided between the expansion sleeve and the receiving material in which the borehole is formed, so that the dowel assembly can be utilized in a cracked-prone tensile zone of the receiving material.

    摘要: Drilling device for forming a borehole with an undercut, includes a cutting edge support mounted in a bearing housing so that it can rotate about an axis of rotation and pivot about a pivot axle extending transversely of the axis of rotation. A drive member via a drive shaft rotates the bearing housing and the cutting edge support. Initially, the drilling device forms a cylindrical borehole until the bearing housing contacts the material in which the borehole is formed. Then, due to relative axial displacement between the drive shaft and the bearing housing, the cutting edge support is pivoted and the cutting edges at the end of the cutting edge support within the base of the borehole makes an undercut. A stop in the bearing housing engages the cutting edge supports and limits its pivotal movement. A spring within the bearing housing returns the cutting edge support to its starting position when it is no longer pivoted to form the undercut.
