    摘要: A transom lift for boats that can be used for loading and transporting objects such as a dinghy or large coolers. The transom lift has generally parallel and vertical members that fit inside of generally vertical and parallel sides of transom mount ladders. Hooks extend from the generally parallel, spaced apart, elongated, and vertical members, and are constructed and arranged to fit over steps of the transom mount ladder. A supported planar member or platform extends from a lower portion of the generally vertical, spaced apart, elongated, and parallel members. The transom lift is raised and lowered by pulling on an upper end of the transom lift using the transom mount ladder as a guide for vertical movement of the transom lift. The hooks position and hold the planar member or platform in the desired vertical position, either above or below the water line.

    摘要: A straight bore butterfly valve carburetor with accelerator assist module includes a butterfly valve carburetor with a straight bore and a vacuum accelerator assist module. The butterfly valve carburetor with a straight bore includes a substantially straight bore intake chamber. The venturi in the intake chamber is eliminated. The vacuum accelerator assist module includes two housing halves, a diaphragm and means for biasing the diaphragm into the fuel chamber. The diaphragm creates a vacuum chamber and a fuel chamber. The vacuum chamber communicates with the substantially straight bore intake chamber and the fuel chamber communicates with a fuel metering chamber of the carburetor. A vacuum is applied to the diaphragm at engine idle, which overcomes the means for biasing. When the butterfly valve is opened, the vacuum collapses and fuel is feed into the substantially straight bore intake chamber to increase engine speed.

    摘要: An accelerator assist module for carburetors includes two housing halves, a diaphragm and means for biasing the diaphragm. Each housing half includes a peripheral flange, a cavity and a pipe extension. The peripheral flange of each housing half preferably includes means for securing thereof to the opposing housing half. The diaphragm creates a vacuum chamber and a fuel chamber. The means for biasing forces the diaphragm into the fuel chamber. The vacuum chamber communicates with an intake chamber of a carburetor and the fuel chamber communicates with a fuel metering chamber of the carburetor. A vacuum is applied to the diaphragm at engine idle, which overcomes the means for biasing. When a butterfly valve of the carburetor is opened, the vacuum collapses and air inside the fuel cavity is displaced into the fuel metering chamber and fuel into the intake chamber to increase engine speed.

    摘要: A vapor return primer for priming and regulating pressure in a carburetor is disclosed. The vapor return primer includes a housing having an inlet and an outlet. The inlet is coupled with the high pressure side of the carburetor. The outlet is coupled with a fuel tank. A resilient flexible membrane is coupled with the housing for moving fluid through the inlet and outlet to prime the carburetor. A pressure relief mechanism is coupled with the housing to provide one-way flow from the housing through the outlet to the fuel tank during priming. Also, the pressure refief mechanism regulates the carburetor pressure when the internal combustion engine is in a continuous running mode.

    摘要: A tool is employed in conjunction with alignment, depth, and level detectors. The tool can use all or some of these detectors. The alignment detector provides an orthogonal laser line grid on an incident surface when the detector has a predefined relationship with the surface. The depth detector emits two sets of parallel laser planes that converge with each other. When the laser planes impact on an incident surface two sets of lines are formed. The laser lines from one laser plane set move closer to the lines from the other laser plane set as the depth detector moves closer to the surface—showing changes in depth or distance. The level detector employs two converging laser planes. An operator positions the level detector above an incident surface, so the laser planes' line of intersection appears on the surface if the surface is level. If the surface is not level, lines separate from each laser plane appear on the surface—signaling the need for a level adjustment. Some versions of the tool have the ability to detect their own orientation and make adjustments based on the orientation. Example tools include nail guns, jigsaws, circular saws, routers, and drills.
