A glass composition for a plasma display panel (PDP) and its fabrication. method are disclosed. The composition, comprising a ZnO—B2O3 group and alkaline earth metal oxide, is environment-friendly, has a high discharge efficiency and is used as various PDP dielectric materials. The fabrication method allows to compose the low melting point unleaded non-alkali glass composition at a low cost.

A prism sheet capable of achieving an enhancement in light efficiency and viewing angle characteristics and a backlight unit using the prism sheet are disclosed. The prism sheet includes: a condensing film which transmits light incident to the condensing film; a plurality of prism crests on the condensing film having apexes; and a plurality of reflection patterns formed on the condensing film such that each of the reflection patterns faces a boundary of adjacent prism crests associated with the reflection pattern to reflect light incident onto the reflection patterns.

The present invention relates to a plasma display panel, and more particularly, to a plasma display panel comprising barrier ribs and manufacturing method thereof. The plasma display panel according to the present invention comprises a plurality of discharge cells on which a Red phosphor, a Green phosphor and a Blue phosphor are coated, and a plurality of barrier ribs that partition the discharge cells having different phosphors coated thereon. A color layer having a predetermined color is formed on at least one of the plurality of barrier ribs. In accordance with the present invention, color layers are formed on barrier ribs of a plasma display panel to enhance a color temperature of phosphors coated on discharge cells. Accordingly, both emission efficiency and brightness can improve.
