Abstract:
What is disclosed is a system and method which reconstructs an N-pixel image of a scene such that Q pixel locations associated with identified regions of interest in a scene have a higher image quality when rendered relative to other pixels in the image. Acquisition and adaptive-quality compression are performed simultaneously by semi-synchronously or asynchronously temporally modulating an ordered set of sampling functions used to spatially modulate a pattern of light. The teachings hereof improve compression efficiency of a compressed sensing framework while improving encoding efficiency with respect to traditional compressed sensing techniques.
Abstract:
A method and a non-transitory computer readable medium for generating polygons within a geographic region that satisfy a query are disclosed. For example, the method extracts a plurality of nodes, a plurality of service providers and information associated with the plurality of nodes and the plurality of service providers of the geographic region from a geographic data source, creates a node table based on the information that was extracted, receives the query for one or more nodes having a predefined number of service providers within a travel budget, determines the one or more nodes from the node table that satisfy the query, and generates one or more generate polygons around the one or more nodes that satisfy the query within the geographic region.

Abstract:
A fluid level sensor is configured for identifying a fluid level in a small volume reservoir, such as a fluid reservoir in an ejector head. The reservoir includes a plurality of vertically arranged chambers. A plurality of piezoelectric transducers is distributed over the chambers in a one-to-one correspondence. At least one electrical conductor is electrically connected to each piezoelectric transducer in the plurality of piezoelectric transducers to enable each piezoelectric sensor to receive an electrical signal to a portion of a wall of the chamber to produce an acoustical wave in the chamber and to transmit an electrical signal from each piezoelectric transducer in response to a fluctuating pressure on each piezoelectric transducer produced by the acoustical wave in the chamber.
Abstract:
A method and system for reconstructing an image of a scene comprises configuring a digital light modulator according to a spatially varying pattern. Light energy associated with the scene and incident on the spatially varying pattern is collected and optically focused on the photodetectors. Data indicative of the intensity of the focused light energy from each of said at least two photodetectors is collected. Data from the photodetectors is then combined to reconstruct an image of the scene.
Abstract:
A method, non-transitory computer readable medium, and apparatus for compressive imaging of a scene in a single pixel camera are disclosed. For example, the method moves a pseudo-random pattern media behind an aperture until a pseudo-random sampling function of a plurality of pseudo-random sampling functions is viewable through the aperture, records a value of an intensity of a modulated light from the scene with a detector, wherein the intensity of the modulated light is representative of an inner product between the pseudo-random sampling function and an image of the scene and repeats the moving and the recording until a necessary number of a plurality of inner products are processed.
Abstract:
A method and structure for forming an ink jet printhead can include the use of a transfer pad to transfer an adhesive solution to an ink jet printhead substrate. The adhesive solution can be placed within a patterned recess of a cliché and then an upper surface of the adhesive solution can be gelled. A surface of the transfer pad contacts the gelled upper surface and transfers the adhesive solution to the ink jet printhead substrate. During the transfer, a lower surface of the adhesive solution gels. During contact with the ink jet printhead substrate, the gelled lower surface adheres to the ink jet printhead substrate while the gelled upper surface releases from the transfer pad.
