    Abstract: A display module and a display device are provided. The display module includes a backlight module; a light control cell; a display liquid crystal cell; a first polarizer; a second polarizer; and a composite optical film. Along a thickness direction of the display module, the light control cell is disposed between the backlight module and the display liquid crystal cell and on a light-exiting surface of the backlight module; the first polarizer is disposed on a side of the display liquid crystal cell facing away from the light control cell; the second polarizer is disposed between the display liquid crystal cell and the light control cell; the composite optical film is disposed between the display liquid crystal cell and the backlight module; and the composite optical film is configured to transmit P-polarized light and reflect S-polarized light.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a display device. The display device includes a first display structure, a second display structure and a backlight device. The first display structure includes first pixels arranged in an array, the first pixels are divided into multiple dimming areas, and each dimming area includes at least one first pixel. The first display structure is for adjusting the transmittance of each dimming area for lights emitted by the backlight device according to an image to be displayed in the next frame of the second display structure.

    Abstract: Display panel and display device are provided. The display panel includes: a color film substrate, an array substrate, at least one light sensitive unit, and collimating apertures penetrating a portion of film layers of the color film substrate and the array substrate along a first direction perpendicular to the display panel. The collimating apertures and the at least one light sensitive unit are disposed in a one-to-one correspondence. The color film substrate includes a first substrate, a first light-blocking layer with first openings, and at least one second light-blocking layer with second openings. The array substrate includes a third light-blocking layer with third openings. An orthographic projection of each first opening, an orthographic projection of a corresponding second opening, and an orthographic projection of a corresponding third opening, at least partially overlap an orthographic projection of a corresponding collimating aperture on the first substrate.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a backlight module, a method for manufacturing the backlight module, and a display device. The backlight module includes a substrate, a plurality of LED chips, and a first film having a plurality of channels. Each channel is filled with a channel filling portion. A refractive index n1 of the first film is smaller than a refractive index of the channel filling portion is n2. The first film has a first region and second region. Channels in the first region are astigmatism holes for diverging the light having a high intensity and channels in the second region are light-converging holes for converging the light having a low intensity, thereby alleviating or eliminating the starry phenomenon.

    Abstract: An irregular display panel and a display device are provided. A display region has an irregular boundary. The display panel includes low-luminance pixels, and normal pixels arranged away from the irregular boundary. The pixel rows and/or the pixel columns include pixel groups each including a first pixel group and a second pixel group. The number of pixels adjacent to the irregular boundary in the first pixel group is greater than that in the second pixel group, and the number of low-luminance pixels of the first pixel group is greater than or equal to that of the second pixel group. The pixel includes at least three sub pixels each including an electrode having at least one slit. The total slit lengths of the low-luminance pixels in a same pixel group increase gradually in a direction from the irregular boundary to the display region.
