Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method and device for reducing display brightness, and belongs to the technical field of display. Aspects of the disclosure provide a method for reducing display brightness. The method includes acquiring a first corresponding relationship between pixel values and voltages for reducing display brightness. The first corresponding relationship is determined based on a second corresponding relationship between pixel values and voltages and a ratio for brightness reduction. Further, the method includes determining a voltage corresponding to a pixel value of a pixel to be displayed based on the first corresponding relationship and at a scanning moment corresponding to the pixel, outputting the determined voltage to a data line corresponding to the pixel in a liquid crystal display screen.

Abstract: A bezel of a display includes source lines with a same length, gate in panel (GIP) lines, and at least two customized integrated circuit (IC) chips arranged along a straight line in a lateral direction. Abstract: A display method and display device are provided. The method includes: detecting whether a displayed content in a display screen changes; in response to detecting that the displayed content does not change, controlling the display screen to update alternately display data respectively corresponding to odd pixels and even pixels in each row of display unit. The number of updated pixels of the display screen each time may be reduced, while the original refresh frequency is maintained, so the problem that the splash screen phenomena is caused in the display screen by reducing the refresh frequency of the display screen may be solved, thus achieving effects of avoiding the splash screen phenomena of the display screen and of reducing the power consumption of the display screen while maintaining the original refresh frequency of the display screen.

Abstract: An LCD panel, a terminal device and a photo-sensing control method are provided. The LCD panel includes: a backlight source, an array substrate disposed on the backlight source; a photosensitive device array disposed on the array substrate; and a control circuit coupled to the photosensitive device array. By disposing the photosensitive device array on the array substrate of the LCD panel, a front panel of the terminal device is not required to be divided into multiple regions. Therefore, the camera function can be integrated into the LCD panel, and only the LCD panel is needed in the front panel of the terminal device which has both the display function and the camera function. The integration and appearance of the front panel of the terminal device is thus improved.

Herein m and n are positive integers. Thus, screen flicker caused by reduction of refresh frequency of a display while the display content does not change can be avoided.
