    摘要: A cable-operated device may comprise a moving member, a cable, a supporting member, and a coil spring. One end of the cable may be connected to the moving member. The cable may be arranged so as to advance and retreat with respect to the moving member. The moving member may move as the cable is caused to advance and retreat. The supporting member may support the cable along a pathway on which the cable is arranged. One end of the coil spring may be fixed to the moving member, and the other end thereof may be fixed to the supporting member. The cable may be inserted into the inner hole of the coil spring. At least one of the moving member and the supporting member may comprise a guide surface that makes contact with the coil spring from a lateral direction with respect to the coil spring. At least one portion of the guide surface may comprise an alumite film.

    摘要: A push-pull cable suitable for automotive applications includes an outer cable having a hollow interior and an inner cable having a circular cross section perpendicular to its axial direction. The inner cable is slidably disposed within the hollow interior and grease is disposed in a clearance defined between an outer circumferential surface of the inner cable and an inner circumferential surface of the outer cable. The inner cable consists of a single metal wire coated with a metal plated layer, the plated layer has a thickness between 3 and 35 microns and the clearance is between 0.05 to 0.5 millimeters.

    摘要: A connecting member includes a male screw portion, a cable insertion portion, a locking portion, and a crimping portion. The male screw portion is provided at a first end of the connecting member. The cable insertion portion is provided at a second end, opposite to the first end, of the connecting member, and has a closed-bottomed hole into which one end of an inner cable is to be inserted. The locking portion is provided on outer circumference of the connecting member between a bottom of the closed-bottomed hole and the second end, and has a shape which can be caught with a part of an operation object in a circumferential direction of the male screw portion. The crimping portion is provided on the outer circumference between the bottom of the closed-bottomed hole and the second end, and configured to crimp the one end of the inner cable.

    摘要: A device for collapsing a backrest of a backseat of a car for placing in communication a rear trunk with the passenger compartment of the car. The backrest is biased from an upright position to a collapsed position forwardly by a coiled biasing spring. A latch rod fixed to the backrest is received and held by a releasable latch of a backseat lock so that the backrest is releasably held in an upright position against the biasing force of the biasing spring. The lock is connected to a control cable operable manually from the vicinity of the front seat of the car or from the vicinity of the rear trunk to render the latch holding action ineffective and release the latch rod. The biasing spring will then collapse the backrest forwardly. The backrest is restored manually to an upright position and locked in readiness for collapsing by the biasing spring. The control cable has a flexible outer casing and an inner cable slidable longitudinally therein.
