摘要： A separable slide fastener comprises a pair of warp-knit stringer tapes each having a pair of webs with a wale-free region therebetween, which are interconnected by a connector thread extending across the wale-free region at longitudinal intervals, the wale-free region being receptive of a chain of thread loops for attaching the stringer tape to a fabric. A pair of rows of coupling elements is mounted on opposite longitudinal edges of the stringer tapes and taken into and out of interdigitating engagement by a slider movable along the rows of coupling elements. The stringer tapes have at one end thereof a separable bottom end stop. A reinforcement member is mounted on each of the stringer tapes at the one end thereof and connected to the separable bottom end stop. The reinforcement member extends between the tape webs across the wale-free region and includes a body having a recess for receiving therein an end of the chain of thread loops on the reinforcement member against displacement thereoff.

摘要： A knit slide fastener including a fastener tape composed of a warp-knit ground structure and having an element-supporting portion along one longitudinal edge thereof, and a row of continuous coupling elements knit into and along the element-supporting portion as the fastener tape is knit, wherein two threads are knit as binding chain stitches of a double-knit structure into the element-supporting portion, each of the binding chain-stitch threads having a series off upper needle loops binding legs of the row of continuous coupling elements, and a series of lower needle loops intertwined with needle loops of corresponding chain-stitch threads forming a part of the ground structure. With this arrangement, the element-supporting portion is made tight and has a fine knit structure which will insure attachment of the of coupling elements to the element-supporting portion with high dimensional stability.

摘要： A separable slide fastener has a pair of warp-knit stringer tapes each with a series of longitudinal openings for easy attachment to a knit fabric. Each of the stringer tapes includes a reinforcing body mounted on a lower end portion thereof and including a thin member and an endmost thick member both extending transversely across some of the tape opening, the thin member covering at least the endmost opening and the endmost thick body having a transverse portion contiguous to the thin member in the longitudinal direction of the stringer tape and extending about a portion of the thin member and the lower end portion of the stringer tape. A separable bottom end stop is injection-molded on the thin reinforcement member bonded to the stringer tape so as to form integrally therewith the thick reinforcement member.

The anchoring means comprises a projection extending from a body of the reinforcement member in a direction away from the stringer tape and located substantially in alignment with one of the webs of the stringer tape. The projection serves to prevent the end of the loop chain extending around the reinforcement body from being displaced off the body.

The second needle bed extends along only one end portion of the first needle bed. And at the same time, a predetermined number of knitting yarn guides are swung and shogged. During that time, a monofilament bending means disposed near one end of the first needle bed reciprocates along the upper space between the first and second needle beds at an underlapping position to continuously form individual fastener elements by bending the monofilament and to knit the formed fastener elements successively in a warp-knit fastener tape by the back-to-back needles in the first and second needle beds simultaneously with the knitting of the tape.

摘要： A separable slide fastener to be attached to a knit fabric has a pair of warp-knit stringer tapes each with a series of openings. Each of the stringer tapes may include a reinforcement film bonded to a lower end portion thereof and having a recess which allows some of the tape openings to be exposed for use in attachment to the knit fabric. The recess may be covered with a thin layer penetratable by knitting needles. A separble bottom end stop may be injection-molded on the reinforcement films bonded to the stringer tapes. Knitting needles are inserted in the openings, and a fabric is knitted thereon to form successive courses. To this end, a row of loops of a course are looped with transverse longitudinally spaced thread portions which define ends of the openings.

摘要： In a zip fastener the elements (10) on one tape have a head which engages a shoulder (20) of an opposed element to limit out of plane movement. A small number of elements (30) have a head (38) which bears on a shoulder 46 when twisted in one direction but passes the shoulder (46) when twisted in the opposite direction to allow partial separation of the elements to create a point of weakness. The coupled elements can be peeled apart when sufficient pressure is applied to one side of the tape at the point of weakness, but the elements resist twisting when pressure is applied to the opposite side.

摘要： In a separable bottom stop assembly of a concealed slide fastener, U-shaped guide portions are respectively connected continuously to ends of inner side edge of a box pin and a separable pin both in a shape of a prism for guiding flanges of the box having at a front face thereof an opening portion. Flat support portions are connected continuously to outsides of the guide portions, and the guide portions and the support portions made of thermoplastic resin are integrally molded to bottom ends of fastener stringer tapes. The guide portions and the support portions connected continuously to the box pin and the separable pin are thin at their portions where the box is disposed and thick at their portions outside the thin portions. The thick portions of the support portions extend to one-side faces of the fastener tapes. The box pin can be inserted into and fixed to a box-pin-insertion hole of the box. Therefore, the attaching portion of the separable bottom stop assembly is reinforced, and the attaching of the box and fitting and detaching operations of the separable pin can be easily performed.
