摘要： Processes and apparatus are disclosed which substantially eliminate the formation of oxidized indigo dye before and during dye application onto a natural fiber yarn or fabric while allowing the leuco-indigo dye molecule to diffuse fully into the natural fibers of the yarn where it can fix to the fibers prior to oxidation (i.e., exposure of the leuco-dyed yarns to oxygen). Indigo dyed textile products (e.g., dyed cotton yarns that may be twill woven to form a denim fabric) exhibit exceptionally high colorfastness as determined by the AATCC Crock Test.

摘要： A conveyor-driven fabric dyeing machine includes a recovery container and a dye chemical saving structure. One or multiple containers are provided for recovering and storing hot water for use in a next dyeing operation in order to achieve an effect of saving energy and shortening dyeing time. If desired, liquids for dyeing may be directly collected and recovered, such as water with low contamination or alkali liquid for specific treatment, for use in a next dyeing operation in order to achieve an effect of saving water and reducing the amount of chemicals consumed, and also to reduce the amount of dye and chemicals that is consumed due to oxidation and reduction caused by air. The recovery container may be provided therein with a heat exchanger for recovery of heat. A gas filling opening is formed in the machine body for introducing a gas to expel out air.

Each one of these devices may comprise a base plate (33) with a shaped slippery covering, consisting of a superficial strip (35) made of PTFE on a strip (34) of compressible flexible material. These devices may be removed without removing the rollers (7, 8). The contact means urging the sealing devices may have springs or hydraulic cylinders (31) or pneumatic cylinders.

摘要： A separable slide fastener has a pair of warp-knit stringer tapes each with a series of openings for easy attachment to a knit fabric. Each of the stringer tapes includes a reinforcement film bonded to a lower end portion thereof and having a recess which allows some of the tape openings to be exposed for use in attachment to the knit fabric. The recess may be covered with a thin layer penetratable by knitting needles. A separable bottom end stop is injection-molded on the reinforcement films bonded to the stringer tapes.

摘要： A method of and device for sealing a high pressure steamer for the continuous wet heat treatment of a cloth utilizes a steamer body provided with a seal mechanism consisting of a pair of seal rubber rolls located at the cloth inlet and the cloth outlet thereof, and includes filling a gas having a density heavier than air in a cloth passage into and out of the steamer body and providing a gas body between each of the cloth inlet and the cloth outlet and the cloth passages into the steamer body with the seal rubber rolls under the same pressure as in the steamer body. A gas having a density heavier than air to be filled in the gas bodies may be replaced with air. The leakage of high temperature and high pressure steam in the steamer body through the inlet side and outlet side seal mechanisms can completely be prevented, and consequently, the seal mechanisms can be operated at the ordinary temperature without damaging the seal rubber rolls constituting the seal mechanisms.

摘要： A method of continuously wet heat treating a cloth at an elevated pressure in the steamer body of a high pressure steamer maintained at a high temperature and pressure steam with the steam body having a said mechanism, including heating a treating solution in a treating solution application tank provided outside of the steamer body with the use of steam exhausted out of the seal mechanism of the steamer body, soaking a cloth to be treated with the thus heated treating solution up to the core part thereof, drying the cloth soaked with the treating solution by evaporating water therefrom, and then wet heat treating the resultant cloth in the high pressure steamer. The method is particularly suitable for such treatment as pretreatment and dyeing treatment of a long knitted or woven cylindrical cloth.

摘要： A seal device provided with a pair of seal rubber rolls arranged to seal a cloth material inlet or outlet formed in a steamer drum body for hygro-thermic treatment of a cloth material.
