    摘要： A method of transmitting channel quality information (CQI) to an access network (AN) in a system having at least one carrier is disclosed. More specifically, the method includes receiving at least one packet from the AN, each of which includes an indicator, wherein the indicator provides buffer level information and ceasing transmission of the CQI of at least one non-anchor carrier to the AN if the buffer level information indicates that there is no more packet to be transmitted to an access terminal (AT).

    摘要： A method for providing an assignment acknowledgement is provided. The method comprises: decoding forward link control channel data blocks according to parameters provided by an overhead channel message; receiving forward link packet data at an access terminal (AT) via a data channel; identifying an offset which defines that a certain number of subpackets of the packet data have been transmitted before the assignment acknowledgement is to be transmitted; and transmitting the assignment acknowledgement according to the offset to indicate successful decoding of one of the control channel data blocks only if the packet data has not been acknowledged.

    摘要： A method of assigning feedback information in a portion of a Medium Access Control (MAC) channel in a wireless communication system is disclosed. More specifically, the method includes receiving at least two pilot signal from an access network (AN) on at least two forward traffic channel, transmitting at least two channel quality information on a single reverse carrier to the AN reporting at least one of strength and quality of each corresponding forward pilot channel, wherein the channel quality information indicates a desired data rate for receiving data on the corresponding forward traffic channel, and receiving feedback information through a forward control channel of the AN, wherein the feedback information includes combined channel quality information which indicates whether or not the AN is able to receive multiple channel quality information sent by an access terminal (AT) on the single reverse carrier.
