摘要: Systems and methods are provided for editing an image of a vehicle interior to isolate the occupant of a vehicle seat. An image generator (102) generates an image of a vehicle interior. A contour generator (104) produces a contour image from the generated image. A model selector (106) selects a contour model from a plurality of contour models according to the similarity of the contour model to a portion of the contour image. An image editor (108) removes a portion of the generated image representing at least a portion of the vehicle seat according to the selected contour model to produce an image of an occupant of the vehicle seat.

摘要: Certain embodiments involve providing multiple versions of content to which a user can subscribe and an option within one version that allows a user of that version to upgrade or otherwise switch the subscription to another version of the content. For example, a “GO PREMIUM” command can allow a user to quickly and easily upgrade from within a basic version to a premium version. The premium version may have fewer or no advertisements and/or have additional or improved content. The option itself may identify the benefits. For example, in the case of a premium version that provides additional statistics not provided by a basic version, a button option within the basic version may have text identifying this benefit, e.g., “INTERESTED IN STATISTICS—GO PREMIUM.” As another example, the option may read “TIRED OF ADS—GO PREMIUM!”

摘要: Certain embodiments involve providing advertisements during navigation on an electronic device. For example, when the device is left idle for a period of time because the user of the device has not given a navigation command, the mobile device may present an advertisement. The advertisement may be displayed, for example, until the user returns and gives an additional navigation or other command, ending the idle period.

摘要: Systems and methods for using design and/or constraint information in selecting, editing, creating, and managing content for multiple operating environments. For example, an image editor feature of a content management system can receive constraints and/or design requirements identifying specific image sizes that are needed for offering a piece of content on one or more operating environments. This information may be used to guide or restrict a user to select appropriate image portions. A selection marquee, sized based on the constraint information, may be positioned on a displayed image to select an image portion to use for that particular image requirement. The marquee size enforces the image constraint. Design and constraint information may also be used to inform selection, editing, and creation of other constraints and other types of assets, including, but not limited to, text and video assets.

摘要: A method for reducing the deleterious effects of sulfate reducing bacteria in aqueous environments, particularly those in which metal materials are exposed to the microorganisms. A treatment solution containing rotenone is introduced into the aqueous environment. The rotenone is present in the treatment fluid in an amount which is sufficient to inhibit the growth of sulfate reducing bacteria on the metal material.

摘要: A method and apparatus (40) for testing an occupant position sensing system (12) of a vehicle (10) includes a motor (42) having a stationary portion (44) and a movable portion (46). A test object (90) is fixed relative to the movable portion (46) of the motor (42). A motor position sensor (64) senses a position of the movable portion (46) of the motor (42) relative to the stationary portion (44) and for providing a motor position signal indicative thereof. Motor drive electronics (58) are responsive to the motor position signal for controlling the motor (42) for moving the test object (90). A data recorder (80) is adapted to receive and record data from the occupant position sensing system (12) and is adapted to receive and record the motor position signal provided by the motor position sensor (64).

摘要: Certain embodiments involve providing advertisements in response to navigation on an electronic device. On a mobile or other electronic device navigation may be controlled by moving a focus indicator amongst a group of displayed items. Certain embodiments provide an advertisement break between navigation items. When a user crosses the advertisement break by navigating the focus indicator from an item on one side of the advertisement break to an item on the other side, an advertisement is presented to the user.
