    Abstract: One or more devices, systems, and/or methods for utilizing a control resource set comprising a physical downlink control channel and a plurality of resource element group bundles containing different quantities of resource element groups. An example method for wireless communication comprises forming a first resource region comprising at least a first type of REG bundle and a second type of REG bundle, and performing a control channel transmission using the first resource region. The first type and the second type of REG bundles may comprise different quantities of resource element groups, and the first type and the second type of REG bundles may correspond to candidates of different aggregation levels.

    Abstract: A system and method for allocating network resources are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, the system and method are configured to perform: transmitting a first control signal using at least a first one of one or more communication resources via a first communication channel, wherein the first control signal indicates which of the one or more communication resources can be used for transmitting data via a second communication channel; and responsive to the first control signal indicating that the at least first one of the one or more communication resources can be used for transmitting data via the second communication channel, transmitting the data using at least part of the at least first one of the one or more communication resources via the second communication channel.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for power control for random access protocols in mobile communication technology are described. An exemplary method for wireless communication includes broadcasting, by a network node serving a cell, an indication of a transmit power level that is specific to the cell, wherein the indication is for use by a wireless device operating in the cell for a two-step random access procedure. Another exemplary method for wireless communication includes receiving, by a wireless device operating in a cell served by a network node, an indication of a transmit power level that is specific to the cell for use in a two-step random access procedure, and transmitting, at the transmit power level, a first message of the two-step random access procedure.

    Abstract: Techniques are described for selecting root pairs for Zadoff-Chu sequences for random access preamble and for signaling one or more values associated with the root pair to a user equipment (UE) by a base station. The described root pair selection methods for two-root physical random access channel (PRACH) preamble can enable the peak differences received at the UE from different frequency offsets (FOs) to be disjointed even considering error in UE side. The selection techniques can improve the performance of PRACH FO and time offset (TO) estimation.
