Abstract: A method and a device for a gateway managing terminal are disclosed. The method comprises that: a Machine To Machine (M2M) gateway transmits an information request message to an M2M terminal requiring registration; and after the M2M gateway receives a message transmitted by the M2M terminal and responding to the information request message, the M2M gateway authenticates and verifies the M2M terminal. In the disclosure, by registering the M2M terminal on the M2M gateway, a problem in remote registration of the M2M terminal is solved, thereby providing a beneficial effect of simplifying a network connection.

Abstract: Provided are a method and a device for paging a terminal. The device includes: a mobile management element configured to manage access control, status judgment and signaling exchange with other control components of a terminal; a visited location register configured to store paging information of the terminal and transmit a paging request according to the paging information. The method and the device solve the defect that that network resources are wasted as a system cannot judge the status of a terminal under a sleep or a power saving mode, and wrong information is fed back, and an ineffective paging request is repeatedly transmitted in the related art, and improve the working efficiency of the whole network.

Abstract: A method and system for controlling signalling transmission in a power-saving mode are disclosed. The method includes that a terminal transmits a tracking area update request signalling or a routing area update request signalling to a new mobility management unit, wherein each signalling includes a power-saving parameter; and the new mobility management unit transmits a power-saving parameter to an old mobility management unit or a serving gateway. According to the disclosure, a network is enabled to keep pace with the power-saving mode of the terminal, and a paging message is transmitted only at activation time, thereby ensuring that the terminal may receive the paging message, and avoiding resource waste caused by repeated paging of the network.
