    Abstract: Power saving techniques are described for paging operation. An example wireless communication method includes receiving, by a communication node, a signal-based wake up signal (WUS) that includes L symbols in time domain or a channel-based WUS that is included in a channel, where the signal-based WUS or the channel-based WUS is associated with the communication node or with a group to which the communication node belongs, and where the signal-based WUS or the channel-based WUS includes an indication information that indicates whether the communication node is triggered to monitor a paging occasion, and determining, by the communication node, whether to perform a paging related operation based on the indication information.

One method includes receiving, by a user equipment (UE), configuration information of a paging early indication occasion (PEI-O), wherein the configuration information comprises a frame-level offset list and a symbol-level offset list, the frame-level offset list comprises one or more frame-level offset, and the symbol-level offset list comprises one or more symbol-level offset; and detecting, by the UE, a paging early indication (PEI) in the PEI-O, wherein the PEI-O is determined by a frame-level offset from a start of a first paging frame (PF) of at least one PF associated with the PEI-O to a reference point and a symbol-level offset from the reference point to a start of a first physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitor occasion of the PEI-O.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method and an apparatus for sequence determination, a device and a storage medium. The method for sequence determination includes: mapping a first bit sequence having a length of K bits to a specified position based on M_index to obtain a second bit sequence; applying Polar encoding to the second bit sequence to obtain a Polar encoded bit sequence; and selecting T bits based on the Polar encoded bit sequence as a bit sequence to be transmitted, where K and T are both non-negative integers and K≤T.

    Abstract: An unlicensed carrier contention method and apparatus are provided. The method comprises that: a Licensed Assisted Access (LAA) device implements a Clear Channel Assessment (CCA) or an Evolution Clear Channel Assessment (eCCA) on a channel; if the result of the assessment is ‘idle’, the LAA device decrement N and determines whether or not the decremented N is greater than 0, wherein N is a natural number; and if the result of the determination indicates that the decremented N is not greater than 0, the LAA device uses an unlicensed carrier for data transmission. The disclosure addresses the problem that no contention withdrawal mechanism or procedure suitable for an LAA system is provided in the conventional art.
