    Abstract: The present disclosure describes methods, system, and devices for configuring a user equipment (UE) for minimization of drive test (MDT). One method includes receiving, by a radio access network (RAN) node, a start message from a core network (CN) or an operation and maintain system (OAM). The start message comprising at least one MDT configuration item and optional non-access stratum (NAS) information, the at least one MDT configuration item comprising at least one of the following MDT configuration information: an expected position, an expected mobility profile, an expected velocity, an expected direction, an expected service profile, or an indicator for the UE to sense and report local surroundings; and sending, by the RAN node, a configuration message to the UE, the configuration message, so that the UE performs according to the at least one MDT configuration item and the optional NAS information and reports a MDT measurement result.

    Abstract: This disclosure generally relates configuration of transmission profile of data flows in communication networks and particularly relates to configuration of Quality of Service (QoS) profile for QoS flows. In some implementations, a first network element in the communication network may be configured to determine a plurality of transmission profiles for a data flow and transmit these profiles to a second network element. The second network element may adaptively select an active transmission profile from the plurality of transmission profiles for configuring the transmission of the data flow. The second network element may further modify the active transmission profile from the plurality of transmission profiles during an active transmission of the data flow without involving additional decision by the first network element.

    Abstract: Methods, apparatus and systems for switching between bandwidth parts in a wireless communication are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method performed by a wireless communication node is disclosed. The method comprises: configuring a first type bandwidth parts (BWPs) for a wireless communication device, wherein the first type BWP includes a single BWP configured for downlink transmission to the wireless communication device; configuring at least two second type BWPs for the wireless communication device, wherein the at least two second type BWPs include two BWPs configured respectively for uplink and downlink transmissions regarding the wireless communication device; and transmitting indication information on a second type BWP in the at least two second type BWPs to the wireless communication device, wherein the indication information indicates a service type of a planned transmission of the wireless communication node on the first type BWP.
