Abstract:
Equipment and method for automatically changing tools on hobbing machines. The machines are of the type equipped with a bedplate to which are connected a pair of uprights, the first of which for supporting a work head and the second of which for supporting a cutter head. The cutter head is rotatable around a horizontal axis and supports horizontally a hob at the extremities thereof. The equipment includes guide means provided in the cutter head, parallel to the axis of the hob, and a support for at least one extremity of the hob is slidable inside the cutter head along the guide means. The support is also displaceable, without being withdrawn from the cutter head, by an amount sufficient to free the two extremities of the hob from the cutter head. The equipment includes also an independent frame fixable to either one of the pair of uprights, and supporting grasping means located above the cutter head. A tool storage space which is also supported by this frame is constituted by a head formed of a number of pairs of arms between which the extremities of the hob could be engaged.
Abstract:
Gear cutting apparatus comprises a hob 9 carried by a radial slide 1 and an axial slide 16, which are moved by independent d.c. motors 20 and 17. A main variable-speed motor 2 on the radial slide 1 is kinematically connected to the hob 9 and to a turntable 10 for the workpiece. The speed of movement of the axial slide is controlled by an electronic circuit which receives signals from dynamo-tachometers kinematically connected respectively to the turntable 10 and to the motor 17 moving the axial slide 16. The movement of the radial slide 1 is controlled in accordance with that of the axial slide 16 by another electronic circuit.
Abstract:
A device for the insertion of banknotes into containers in machines suitable for receiving and handling banknotes, comprises a container for the banknotes, adapted to be closed and removed from the machine once filled, and a loading path, diverting from a circulation path inside the machine and ending at said container, for the insertion of banknotes into the container. The device further comprises at least one scanner, placed along the loading path, for the optical detection of images of the banknotes entering into the container and a memory connected to the scanner for storing the images detected thereby.
Abstract:
A device for filling and closing disposable bags for containing banknotes includes a container for the temporary housing of one or more banknotes. The container has side walls and a bottom with an opening for the exit of the one or more banknotes from the container. A piston for pushing the one or more banknotes towards the bottom of the container. A bag made of flexible material intended to be filled with the banknotes temporarily housed in the container is wrapped around the side walls and the bottom of the container. A plate, placed below the container, is vertically movable through controlled lowering of a device, such as a spring. Sealing elements for heat sealing the filled bag are placed between the container and the plate.
Abstract:
A banknote store includes a banknote storage roller, two banknote conveyor belts and two collection sprockets of said belts, each belt being wound on one side to the storage roller and on the other to one of the collection sprockets, the two belts being arranged to come into contact with the banknotes respectively on opposite faces, a handling device being present to move the roller, the sprockets and the belts so as to alternatively realize the storage of the banknotes on the roller or their release from the store. The collection sprockets are mounted on a same shaft.
Abstract:
A banknote store comprises a banknote storage roller (17), two banknote conveyor belts (26, 27) and two collection sprockets (18, 19) of said belts, each belt (26, 27) being wound on one side to the storage roller (17) and on the other to one of the collection sprockets (18, 19), the two belts being arranged to come into contact with the banknotes respectively on opposite faces, handling means being present to move the roller, the sprockets and the belts so as to alternatively realize the storage of the banknotes on the roller or their release from the store. Said collection sprockets (18, 19) are mounted on a same shaft (20).
Abstract:
A disposable container for valuable items that is suitable for being used in a machine for filling and closing the container, the container (16, 116) being suitable for being anchored to supporting elements (22, 23) of the machine so that a filling mouth (21, 121) of the container is positioned for receiving valuable items coming from the machine, such as banknotes, paper items (tickets, cheques, . . . ), coins, plastic chips for casinos, etc. With the edge of the mouth of the container there is associated coupling means (38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 45, 46, 138, 140, 142, 145) that is movable through the action of closing elements of the machine from a first decoupled position, wherein the mouth is open, to a second coupled position, wherein the mouth is closed, said coupling means being suitable for making an irreversible closure when it is taken to the second coupling position.
Abstract:
