摘要： A method includes obtaining an elongated supply strip formed from an elongated profile body and an elongated flange and modifying portions of the profile body and/or the flange in different locations along a length of the supply strip to define termination ends of closure strips. The supply strip is separated into at least one of the closure strips at the termination ends. The flange in the closure strip is coupled to one or more panels of a resealable enclosure, and the panels are partially sealed to define an opening into the resealable enclosure. The profile body is configured to repeatedly couple with and decouple from itself to close and open the opening in the resealable enclosure. The panels are sealed to each other such that the ends of the closure strip are sealed between the panels.

The opening arrangement opens a bag to form an opening so that a product can be placed into the bag. The engagement devices engage the bag and close the opening. Each engagement device includes a base, a first link, a second link, a sliding pivot, and a finger. The first link is pivotably connected to the base, and the second link is pivotably connected to the first link. The sliding pivot pivots with respect to the base and allows the second link to slide through the sliding pivot member. The finger is connected to the second link. The engagement devices pull a first and second sides of the bag in opposite directions. The sealing arrangement seals the opening of the bag.

摘要： A medical device sterile barrier system that is easier for surgical personnel to use by allowing easier opening and removal of the medical device from the sterile packaging, includes a sterile bag within which a medical device is held secure via a removable holster, the holster being fashioned with a hinge feature such that the holster has a clamshell arrangement and folds in half along the hinge feature to clamp the medical device parts in place between the two halves of the clamshell. To remove the medical device the holster is simply unfolded about the hinge feature to reveal the parts of the device, which can then be lifted out of the holster and assembled in the usual way. There are thus no polymer tab features forming part of the holster and interacting with the device to secure it in place that need removal before the device can be used.

The manifold assembly includes a plurality of bags, a first filter, and a connection line in fluid communication with the first filter. Each of the plurality of bags includes a bladder and a stem in fluid communication with the bladder and with the connection line. The method includes activating a pump and at least partially filling one or more of the bladders by pumping fluid through the feed line, the first filter, and the connection line. The method includes sealing the stem of each of the filled product bags at a location between the connection line and the bladder, thereby creating one or more at least partially filled and sealed product bags. The method includes separating each of the at least partially filled and sealed product bags from the connection line.
