Abstract:
A rotary distributor for distributing a pressurized fluid to movable user devices comprises a first element associated with a fixed frame and connected to a fluid source; a selector having a plurality of openings connected to corresponding ducts for passage of the fluid to corresponding movable user devices; and a manifold having a first surface located in front of the first element and a second surface located in front of the selector. The manifold has an opening for passage of fluid between the first element and the selector. The opening has an extension able to touch a number of openings of the selector in movement to allow passage of fluid towards the openings. The opening of the manifold consists of a through slot, open on the first surface located in front of the first element and also open on the second surface located in front of the selector.
Abstract:
A unit for conveying and sorting products into alignment includes at least one conveyor belt and at least one surface for gathering products, arranged downstream the belt. At least two conveyor belts are arranged at different heights and convey the products according to a predefined arrangement. A lower belt leads to a carousel for picking up and transferring a product at a time into a conveyance channel that leads to the gathering surface. An upper belt includes at least one portion that surmounts an end of the lower belt arranged downstream the first carousel. The portion leads to an apparatus for overturning the products to transfer them onto the lower belt end, with an orientation, of the products, opposite the one adopted on the upper belt. The part is affected by a second carousel for picking up and transferring one product at a time into the conveyance channel.
Abstract:
A packaging machine (1) to form packets (3) of smoking articles (2), in particular cigarettes, comprising a wrapping wheel (13), in order to wrap, at least partially, products (4) in wrapping sheets (6, 8), comprises a plurality of peripheral pockets (14) to receive the products (4) and the wrapping sheets (6, 8), a first loading station (PSC) to load the products (4) in succession into the peripheral pockets (14), and a second loading station (SSC) to load, in succession, first wrapping sheets (6) of the wrapping sheets (6, 8) into the peripheral pockets (14; 114). The wrapping wheel (13) also comprises a third loading station (TSC) to load, in succession, second wrapping sheets (8) of the wrapping sheets (6, 8) into the peripheral pockets (14), thus reducing the bulk of a packaging machine (11) including said wrapping machine (13).
Abstract:
This invention relates to a packet for containing products and designed to display the products in a manner especially convenient for them to be picked by the user.
Abstract:

Abstract:
The present invention is directed towards bacteriophage therapy, the treatment of infectious diseases, caused by pathogenic bacteria, using specific bacteriophages. The purity of bacteriophage preparations has been a major obstacle for their therapeutic use in the past. Current purification methods are only suitable for low-scale production, as they are work and cost intensive. Disclosed is a method and machinery to purify crude bacteriophage preparations in large scale and fully automated, resulting in highly pure (toxin free) and highly concentrated bacteriophage preparations, suitable for agricultural and clinical applications.
Abstract:
A device withdraws and opens cases for CD and the like, including a pair of shells of complementary shape, hinged along a hinge axis along one edge of the shells. A swinging arm equipped with suction cups withdraws single cases from a storage device and transfers the cases in a vertical feeding plane over a conveying line leading to a packaging section. Further suction cups, carried by a take over member, grip the case just withdrawn acting on the shells and open the case by rotation of the shells about the hinge axis. Then the take over member is moved in horizontal direction towards the conveying line to transfer the case from the opening position to a position in which the opened case is released on the conveying line for further processing.
