    Abstract: A transmission method, a base station, and a terminal. The method includes sending, by a source base station, a handover command to a terminal, where the handover command triggers a process of handing over the terminal from the source base station to a target base station, and the source base station maintains user data transmission with the terminal, and, in the handover process, when maintaining of the user data transmission between the source base station and the terminal is stopped, sending, by the source base station, a first status report to the terminal, where the first status report indicates, to the terminal, a status of receiving uplink data of the terminal by the source base station.

    Abstract: A communication method and apparatus, a storage medium, and a chip system relate to the field of communication technologies, to reduce a bit error and/or a packet loss. In this application, a terminal device receives configuration information from a network device, where the configuration information is used to configure a first carrier. The terminal device sends first information to the network device. The first information indicates to stop data transmission on the first carrier. The first information further indicates that the terminal device stops measurement on the first carrier. Therefore, the network device may determine that a reason for receiving no measurement result of the first carrier from the terminal device is that a first terminal device does not measure the first carrier, rather than another reason, and then the network device can activate a carrier more properly.

    Abstract: In a communication method, a terminal device receives first indication information and second indication information. The first indication information indicates a first symbol set on which the terminal device receives a plurality of synchronization signals. The second indication information indicates a second symbol set on which the terminal device sends an uplink signal. The first symbol set and the second symbol set have M overlapping symbols.     Abstract: A communications method and apparatus, where the method includes: sending, by a session management network element, first indication information when the session management network element determines, based on first information, to establish a first low-latency service flow for a session, wherein the first indication information is used to indicate to set the session to an always-on session. According to solutions of this application, when determining to establish the low-latency service flow, the session management network element flexibly indicates to a terminal apparatus to set the session to the always-on session. This avoids a resource waste caused by setting the session to the always-on session all the time, and avoids a transmission latency caused when the session is not set to the always-on session in time, such that resource utilization and transmission efficiency are improved.

    Abstract: According to embodiments, a UE receives, from a network device, a configuration of a sounding reference signals (SRS) resource with 8 antenna ports, a transmission comb configuration for the SRS resource, and a cyclic shift (CS) configuration for the SRS resource. The transmission comb configuration indicates a comb value K. K is one of 2, 4, or 8. The transmission comb configuration further indicates a configured comb offset (k). k is an integer between 0 and K−1. The CS configuration indicates CS positions. The UE maps each port of the 8 antenna ports to corresponding resource elements (REs) in the frequency domain and a corresponding CS. The corresponding REs are a subset of a plurality of REs and on every K-th RE with an offset based on the configured comb offset (k) within an SRS transmission bandwidth. The UE transmits SRSs using the 8 antenna ports based on the mapping.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the application may produce a dramatic reduction in reference signal overhead, enabling channel estimation and acquisition of MIMO with a very large bandwidth in the 10˜13 GHz range and a very ultra large number of antenna ports and a very large number of transmission layers, and exploit channel correlation in time/frequency/spatial domain. Firstly, a new signaling to indicate the topology structure of channel vectors is provided. Secondly, UE behavior is defined in terms of channel estimation and interpolation, based on the indicated topology structure. Thirdly, reference signal patterns are derived, again based on the topology structure.
