    Abstract: A data transmission method and apparatus are provided, to improve security of audio-video data transmission. In this application, the source device performs identity authentication on and negotiate a key with a transmission device that needs to output audio-video data or perform transformation processing on a transmission path to the sink device, and generates a key distribution packet used to encrypt or decrypt an audio-video stream only for the transmission device that needs to output audio-video data or perform transformation processing. Another device on the transmission path cannot know the key and cannot perform decryption, so that transmission security of the audio-video stream can be improved. In addition, the source device centrally performs identity authentication and authorization control on other transmission devices that need to output the audio-video data or perform transformation processing.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to signal transmission methods and apparatuses.     Abstract: This application provides example forward error correction (FEC) code design methods and example related devices. One example method includes determining a quantity of transmission lanes for transmitting data. A plurality of FEC working areas can be determined based on the quantity of transmission lanes, where a quantity of the plurality of FEC working areas is the same as the quantity of transmission lanes, and the plurality of FEC working areas are for performing check and error correction on the data. The data on a transmission lane of the transmission lanes can be evenly allocated to each of the plurality of FEC working areas. The data received by each of the plurality of FEC working areas can be processed by using the plurality of FEC working areas.

    Abstract: The technology of this application relates to a content transmission protection method and a related device, to avoid leakage of an audio/video stream when a transmit end and a receive end perform authentication. The method includes, in a process of establishing a transmission link between a transmit end and a receive end, the transmit end performs authentication key exchange with the receive end to obtain an authentication key. The transmit end performs session key agreement with the receive end based on the authentication key to obtain a session key. The transmit end performs authorization control on the receive end after establishment of the transmission link between the transmit end and the receive end is completed. The transmit end sends an encrypted audio/video stream to the receive end after the transmit end completes authorization control on the receive end. The encrypted audio/video stream is encrypted based on the session key.
