摘要： A single-use syringe includes a barrel having front and rear passageways and a shoulder disposed there between, a plunger movable in the rear passageway, a carrier having a tail portion extending from a front end wall of the plunger, and pushing and retained regions formed forwardly of the tail portion, and a deformable sealing member in fluid-tight and slidable engagement with the barrel. The sealing member includes an inner surrounding wall surface with a yielding segment engaging the pushing region, and a retaining segment in frictional engagement with the retained region by a frictional force so as to confine a fluid-tight surrounding area. The frictional force is diminished when the yielding segment is depressed by the pushing region so as to facilitate release of the retained region from the retaining segment, thereby disrupting the fluid-tightness of the surrounding area and rendering the syringe unreusable.

摘要： A single-usage disposable hypodermic syringe in which the needle cover of the conventional syringe is replaced by a tubular housing which encloses from the tip of the needle cannula to the rear end of the barrel. An empty space is reserved inside the needle locking base for the positioning of a plug. When an arc segment of a projected member located at the front of the plunger is moved forward with the plunger, the plug with the channel is being pushed to the bottom of the empty space, allowing the plug to rotate and block off the opening of the needle cannula. The medication can no longer be given. A triangular plate installed in the rear portion of the Y-shaped plunger is used to restrict the movement of the projecting plate. Only when the projecting plate is rotated and swing away that the syringe is able to accept medication. The syringe cannot be reused and the tubular housing is used to cover the overall syringe for disposal.

摘要： A plunger activated capping system is disclosed which includes a syringe body defining a fluid reservoir, a plunger assembly including a plunger rod and a sealing member supported on the plunger rod, and a luer cap releasably secured to a distal end of the syringe body. The luer cap includes a luer-type connector member and a fluid outlet. A luer cap plug is releasably supported on a distal end of the plunger rod at a location distally of the sealing member. The luer cap plug is movable into engagement with the luer cap to seal the fluid outlet of the luer cap upon advancement of the plunger assembly from a retracted position to an advanced position. The plunger assembly is configured to effect disengagement of the luer cap from the distal end of the syringe body when the plunger assembly is moved to the advanced position.

The barrel has an open front end, an open back end and multiple longitudinal slots defined through the barrel and communicate with the open front end. The needle assembly is mounted retractably in the open front end of the barrel and has a tapered hub, a needle and a plug. The tapered hub has a front, an open back, an axial recess and multiple longitudinal grooves. The needle is mounted on the tapered hub. The plug is mounted slidably into the axial recess. The sheath is mounted around the open front end of the barrel. The plunger is mounted slidably through the open back end of the barrel. The needle assembly is pulled into the barrel by a vacuum force generated by the plunger so medical personnel can safely deal with the used safe syringe.
