    摘要: The disclosure relates to a safety system for a medical injection device including a barrel, a needle, and a stopper. Said safety system includes a body, the medical injection device being movable relative to the body between an initial distal position and a final safety position. The body includes at least one first locking member configured to releasably lock the medical injection device in the initial position, and a plunger rod configured to drive the stopper in distal direction. Said plunger rod being axially collapsible between an initial extended configuration and a final retracted configuration. The plunger rod and the locking member being configured so that when the stopper abuts at the distal end of the barrel, a safety activation force exerted onto the plunger rod in distal direction collapses the plunger rod, causing the body to move to the final safety position.

    摘要: A therapeutic agent delivery system includes a therapeutic agent delivery assembly carried by a housing. The therapeutic agent delivery assembly includes a chamber including a first passageway, a therapeutic agent carried in the first passageway, and a needle in communication with the first passageway. The therapeutic agent delivery assembly is translatable relative to the housing from a stowed configuration to a deployed configuration. In the deployed configuration the needle at least partially extends distally from the distal end portion of the housing. The therapeutic agent delivery assembly is translatable relative to the housing from the deployed configuration to a retracted configuration. In the retracted configuration the needle is disposed proximally relative to the distal end portion of the housing. A drive mechanism translates the therapeutic agent delivery assembly from the stowed configuration to the deployed configuration and from the deployed configuration to the retracted configuration.

The apparatus can include a housing, a microneedle array holder for holding a microneedle array, and a shuttle that holds a cartridge (e.g., that contains an active agent). The microneedle array holder can be movable between a retracted position and an extended position. The shuttle can be movable between a first position in which the cartridge is not in fluid communication with a fluid path and a second position in which the cartridge is in fluid communication with the fluid path. The apparatus can further include an actuator movable between a first position and a second position. The method can include moving the actuator to its second position to allow the shuttle to move toward its second position, wherein movement of the shuttle toward its second position allows the microneedle array holder to move to its extended position.

    摘要: A safety syringe structure includes a combined structure of a syringe barrel, a needle retreater, a needle, and a plunger. The needle retreater and the plunger are slidably received in the syringe barrel. The needle retreater is arranged adjacent to the front end of the syringe barrel. The needle is coupled to the needle retreater. The plunger has an end extended to form a sharp tip and is provided with a plug facing the needle retreater. The sharp tip extends outside the plug in a direction toward the needle retreater. The sharp tip is movable with the plunger toward the front end of the syringe barrel to pierce into and couple with the through hole of the needle retreater; and the sharp tip is movable with the plunger toward the rear end of the syringe barrel to drive, through the needle retreater, the needle into the channel.
