摘要： An economical mechanically strong bottle carrier of the wrap around type having top, bottom and side walls interconnected to form a tubular open ended structure is provided with bottle engaging and carrier reinforcing flaps which are associated with certain bottle heel receiving apertures at the carrier corners are arranged so as effectively to prevent dislodgment of the bottles from the open ended tubular structure and which in addition constiute significant reinforcement for the corners of the carrier so that the carrier formed of light weight paperboard is of sufficient mechanical strength whereby rupture of the carrier is prevented and secure retention of bottles is effected.

摘要： Panel interlocking means for securing a pair of panels in overlapping face contacting relation includes a locking tab struck from one of the panels and arranged to be driven through a locking aperture defined by a retaining tab struck from the other panel and arranged so that its free end engages the locking tab in angularly disposed mutually bracing relation, a securing tab projecting from a transverse edge of the locking aperture remote from the fold line of the retaining tab and disposed within a securing aperture struck from the locking tab and disposed at the base thereof and adjacent the locking tab fold line so as positively to secure the panels together against relative movement.

摘要： A locking tab formed in one panel and having a securing aperture at its base is driven through a locking aperture defined by a retaining tab formed in another face contacting panel so as to interlock the panels by panel interlocking mechanism including a rotatable locking element having radially disposed locking fingers thereon which are especially configured so that the end portion of each locking finger is substantially larger in cross sectional area than the securing aperture formed in the associated locking tab and with a clearance groove formed along one side of each locking finger for receiving the securing tab during a locking operation.

摘要： An article carrier for bottled beverages or similar articles which is characterized by a generally rectangular blank of paperboard or similar foldable sheet material cut and scored so that it may be folded and its opposite ends connected to form a sleeve for encompassing a row assembly of the articles with connected side and end wall panels disposed about the sides and ends of the assembly, and having a pair of bottom wall forming panels hinged to the bottom edges of the side wall panels which are overlapped and connected to form the bottom wall, together with a pair of top wall panels hinged to the top edges of the side wall panels which are overlapped and connected to form a top wall. In one form of the carrier the end walls terminate short of the top wall and in another form thereof the end walls extend to the top wall to form a complete enclosure. An internal article separating partition panel structure is provided with a hinged anchoring tab on the bottom edge which is foldable so as to be trapped between the bottom of an article and the bottom wall of the carrier.

摘要： A generally rectangular wraparound type blank includes a longitudinal generally medially disposed handle interconnected at its ends with side wall forming panels to the bottom of each of which a bottom forming panel is foldably joined and to the diagonal end edges of which web panels are foldably joined and in turn interconnected with the end edges of end wall forming panels via supplementary side wall forming panels. The handle is held in fixed relation atop a group of articles and the ends of the blank are elevated so as to elevate the end wall forming panels and their associated supplementary side wall forming and web panels following which the end wall forming panels are folded outwardly and downwardly into enveloping relationship relative to the group of articles while the ends of the blank are folded downwardly and underneath the group of articles and secured together.

摘要： For withdrawing a pair of blanks from a hopper simultaneously, a feeder blank is disposed within the hopper adjacent the outlet part thereof and is constructed and arranged in face contacting relationship with a companion blank in such manner that movable suction means is afforded access to an area of the companion blank so that withdrawing movement of the suction means imparts withdrawing movement to both the feeder blank and the companion blank simultaneously by a single withdrawal stroke of the suction means. Both blanks are adapted for movement in a direction different from the direction of withdrawal movement of the blanks as by means of a pair of feeder chains. Stabilizing tabs are formed along the end portions of the feeder blank adjacent the trailing edge thereof to insure proper engagement of the feeder blank by the feeder chains.
