Abstract:
Proposed is a safety apparatus using blocking members, such as rope, for allowing or blocking passage of passengers and pedestrians. The safety apparatus of the present disclosure is configured to reduce a vertical distance of the blocking members when the vertically arranged blocking members are raised to allow passage and increase the vertical distance of the blocking members when the blocking members are lowered to block the passage and reduce a vertical length of the apparatus.
Abstract:
A vehicular opening/closing body control device includes: a braking control unit configured to apply a braking force to an opening/closing body provided in an opening in a vehicle; a traveling state determination unit configured to determine a traveling state of the vehicle; an abnormality detection unit configured to detect occurrence of a full-closing abnormality in which the opening/closing body is not held in a fully-closed state during the traveling of the vehicle; and a record holding unit configured to hold a detection record of the full-closing abnormality, wherein the braking control unit executes braking control through detection of the full-closing abnormality of the opening/closing body, and in a case where the detection record of the full-closing abnormality is held after the vehicle stops, executes the braking control of the opening/closing body based on the detection record of the full-closing abnormality before the vehicle travels.
Abstract:
Roller assemblies for hanging panels are disclosed herein. Roller assemblies according to the present disclosure are configured to support a hanging panel and include an elongate rail configured to be mounted on a surface. The roller assembly includes a trolley assembly, which includes a bearing assembly configured to translate the trolley assembly along the elongate rail and a bracket coupled to the bearing assembly and configured to be coupled to the hanging panel. The elongate rail includes a rail adjustment system configured to facilitate adjusting a position and/or an orientation of the elongate rail with respect to the surface. The rail adjustment system is concealed in a rail-assembled configuration, and includes at least two spaced-apart rail adjustment mechanisms.
Abstract:
A system for allowing a loading dock door to release from a track upon being struck by a fork lift or other sufficiently strong force. The system employs a unique track profile with one or more sidewalls that have an angled sidewall profile to allow a release assembly to move out of the track. The release assembly includes a biasing mechanism that allows the assembly to flex and ride out of the track when the door is impacted.
Abstract:
A hinge apparatus has a first attachment member to be attached to a housing, a second attachment member to be attached to a door; and first and second links, respective basal end portions of the first and the second links rotatably attached to the first attachment member, respective distal end portions of the first and the second links rotatably attached to the second attachment member. The first attachment member, the second attachment member, the first link and the second link constitute a link mechanism. The first attachment member has a base member to be attached to the housing, and a connecting member removably attached to the base member. The basal end portions of the first and the second links are rotatably attached to the connecting member. The connecting member, the second attachment member, the first link and the second link constitute a link mechanism.
Abstract:
A system for allowing a loading dock door to release from a track upon being struck by a fork lift or other sufficiently strong force. The system employs a unique track profile with one or more sidewalls that have an angled sidewall profile to allow the wheel assembly to move up the sidewall and out of the tracks, and a tensioned or spring loaded wheel assembly that allows the assembly to flex enough to ride up the sidewall and out of the tracks when the door is impacted.
Abstract:
A sliding door structure comprises at least one door or plate (12), and a substantially horizontally arranged track device (13). The track device (13) includes a stationary track part (14) and at least one door carrier (16) for carrying the door. The door carrier is supported by the stationary track part (14) at one or more supporting points and displaceable horizontally in relation to said track part between first and second opposite positions. The door (12) is connected to the track device (13) such that the center of gravity of the door or plate (12) is spaced horizontally from the adjacent supporting point by a distance being a substantial fraction of the width of the door or plate (12). Thus, the door (12) is supported by the carrier (16) in a cantilever-like manner and the length of the track (13) may be reduced to a value substantially corresponding to the width of the door opening (11).
Abstract:
Trolley for a slidable cantilever gate comprising two L-shaped plates, each provided with a load-bearing wall and a base wall which is extended without interruption from the load-bearing wall by means of a substantially orthogonal fold. The load-bearing walls are rigidly connected by means of screws or rivets with the two base walls oriented in opposite directions so as to form a support base on ground. Each load-bearing wall is provided with two first through openings aligned with respective corresponding first openings of the other load-bearing wall so to jointly define two first seats adapted to house first rotatable support means for two pairs of support wheels; and with a second through opening aligned with that corresponding on the other load-bearing wall so to jointly define a second seat for receiving a guide wheel, rotatably supported by second rotatably support means. The load-bearing walls, moreover, are each provided with a first shape with concavity facing that of the other load-bearing wall in order to jointly define a first housing adapted to receive a fixing screw of the pin of the guide wheel, and a second shape with concavity facing that of the other load-bearing wall in order to jointly define a second housing, which communicates with a vertical guide defined in one of the first seats, and houses adjustment means operating on a slide which bears, pivoted, a pair of adjustable wheels, in order to adjust its vertical height.
Abstract:
A roller assembly for a sliding vehicle closure includes a bracket secured to an associated sliding vehicle closure and a ball-type roller secured to the bracket at a location spaced apart from the associated sliding vehicle closure. The ball-type roller is fixed in position relative to the associated sliding vehicle closure during opening and closing thereof.
Abstract:
A hinge for wings or doors, in particular of electrical appliances, having a first element, a second element and a rocker lever for connecting the first and second elements; the lever pivots on the second element and has a first arm integral with the first element to render the first and second elements movable relative to one another with a tilting action between a closed position and an open position; the second element consisting of a substantially box-shaped body containing both elastic parts, inserted between the second element and a second arm of the lever to apply an elastic action on the lever, and a damping device, for applying a damping action on the lever during the reciprocal motion of the first and second elements, when the closed position is almost reached.
