摘要: A system for binding horizontal and vertical panels is provided. The system comprises a casing comprising a barrel and a cover, the casing inserted into an end of a horizontal panel. The system also comprises a cylindrical metal insert embedded into a first surface of a vertical panel. The system also comprises a sliding metal pin inside the casing that receives attraction with a magnet placed on a second surface of the horizontal panel proximate the casing. The pin moves, based on the received attraction and after the end of the horizontal panel is placed against the vertical panel at a location of the insert, the movement of the pin based on movement of the magnet. The pin also protrudes partially, based on the movement through a first hole in the cover, into a second hole in the insert.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to configurable stacking chairs having a standard seat base frame design to which different interchangeable seat backs can be quickly and easily attached. The seat base frames and the interchangeable seat backs may include corresponding quick-connect features that allow selective attachment therebetween. The interchangeable seat backs may be attached to a standard seat base frame via a magnetic connection. Each interchangeable seat back can have a different unique design allowing for a quick change of appearance by exchanging one interchangeable seat back design for another. The interchangeable seat backs and the standard seat base frames can be stored separately and take up less space than completely assembled or fixed back chairs.

摘要: An outdoor equipment cover is configured to be utilized with outdoor equipment having a metallic component, the outdoor equipment cover includes a cover body, a magnetic fastener, and a secondary fastener. The cover body presents an outer edge disposed along a bottom side and a cover void therein configured to receive the outdoor equipment therein. The magnetic fastener and the secondary fastener are each secured to the cover body. The magnetic fastener is configured to provide a magnetic force to keep the magnetic fastener selectively secured to the metallic component of the outdoor equipment so as to keep the cover body in place around the outdoor equipment therein. The secondary fastener is configured to reduce a cross-sectional area of the cover void so as to prevent the outdoor equipment cover from being removed from the outdoor equipment while the secondary fastener is emplaced.

The device case includes: an insert including a rectangular bore and defining a set of undercut sections about the rectangular bore; and a first set of magnetic elements arranged in a first pattern about the rectangular bore. The mount includes: a body; a polygonal boss extending from the body and configured to insert into the rectangular bore; a set of locking jaws arranged on the polygonal boss configured to transiently mate with the set of undercut sections to constrain the polygonal boss within the rectangular bore; and a second set of magnetic elements arranged in a second pattern about the polygonal boss and configured to transiently couple to the first set of magnetic elements to transiently retain the mount against the device case and to drive the set of locking jaws toward the set of undercut sections.

摘要: Embodiments provide for a geodetic assembly (200) for land surveying. The geodetic assembly (200) may include a first element (210) including a first magnetic unit (270) and a second element (250) including a second magnetic unit (260). The second element may be part of a support structure (240) of the geodetic assembly and is adapted to mate with the first element for supporting a geodetic device (230), the first element being attached to the geodetic device (or vice versa). The geodetic assembly may further comprise at least one magnetic shield (270) for shielding the geodetic device, or a magnetically sensitive device (280) arranged at the support structure, from the first magnetic unit and the second magnetic unit.

摘要: A cooking utensil for preventing burns is provided. The cooking utensil comprises a container part and a burn prevention part. The container part includes a bottom portion, a perimeter portion, and an insertion groove. The burn prevention part includes a support portion, a cap portion, a flange portion, and at least one elastic member. The flange portion and the support portion may be made of magnetic materials that attract each other. Accordingly, when the container part is heated, the support portion and the flange portion made of the magnetic materials lose the magnetic properties thereof and move upward by means of the upper side of the elastic member, thus minimizing the effect of the heating of the container part and preventing the person cooking from being burned by the upper portion of the container part.

摘要: A system for holding objects at the front of a camera lens includes a mount and positionable objects for creating photographic effects. The system includes a magnetically receptive surface that receives one or more effect wands in a magnetic ball-socket relationship. The strength of the magnetic ball-socket is sized according to the size and weight of effect wands used by the photographer to place such wands in the light path of the camera lens to achieve a desired effect. Extension arms may also be integrated between a mounting ring base and the effect wands providing additional flexibility. Related methods are also disclosed.
