    Abstract: Described is, among other things, a valve with a valve seat comprising an inner path (5) providing a first flow channel adapted to be in contact with a first chamber (11) of the valve, the valve seat (1) comprising at least one outer path (6) also adapted to be in contact with the first chamber (11), the valve seat further comprising an area facing a sealing of the valve, said area adapted to be in connection with a second chamber (12), said area having an inner sealing edge (3) and an outer sealing edge (2), and wherein said valve seat (1) is adapted to allow for a flow between said first chamber (11) and said second chamber (12) when the valve is in an open position, where said flow in said inner path (5) and said at least one outer path (6) flow through said area being in contact with the second chamber via the inner sealing edge (3) and the outer sealing edge (2), respectively.

    Abstract: A method for piloting a pressure regulator for an operative gas, the pressure regulator having a flow duct for the operative gas; a shutter causing a pressure drop in the operative gas, from a feeding pressure to a delivery pressure; a motorisation chamber delimited by a first movable wall associated with the shutter so that an increase in the delivery pressure causes a narrowing of the shutter; an elastic element exerting on a first movable wall a force directed to counteract the pressure force exerted by the operative gas on the first movable wall and widening the shutter; a compensation chamber housing a compensation gas and at least partially delimited by a second movable wall connected to the shutter to enable transferring on it the pressure force of the compensation gas, the method including the operation of regulating, moment by moment, the pressure of the compensation gas as a function of the delivery pressure.

    Abstract: A valve includes a valve body with an annular valve seat having a first central axis, and a valve closure subassembly assembled with the valve body and including an axially movable valve stem and a stem tip attached to the valve stem by a stem connector and including an annular seal portion having a second central axis. When the first central axis is misaligned with the second central axis, the stem tip is pivotable about the valve stem to effect angular adjustment of the annular seal portion of the stem tip into uniform sealing engagement with the annular valve seat when a closing force is applied to the valve stem. The stem connector is configured to resist pivoting movement of the stem tip when the valve stem is in the open position.

    Abstract: A three-way valve assembly, including a valve body having a fluid flow path and a valve member movable in the fluid flow path between a supply port and a work port, and between a load sense passage and a pressure relief port. The valve member may move between a first position and a second position for controlling flow and regulating fluid pressure differences sensed in the flow path; and for limiting fluid pressure in the flow path to a predetermined pressure level set by a pilot-operated pressure limiter valve when the valve member is in the second position. The valve member may move between the second position and a third position to open the flow path from the load sense passage to the pressure relief port for relieving fluid pressure in the flow path when the fluid pressure from an over-loaded actuator exceeds the predetermined pressure level set by the pressure limiter valve.

    Abstract: A valve for a hydraulic system is provided including a work port channel, a load sense channel, and a tank channel. Additionally, a body cavity extends between the work port channel and the tank channel, and a spool is movably positioned in the body cavity. The body cavity defines an inner surface and the spool defines an outer surface. The inner surface of the body cavity and the outer surface of the spool together define a interface between the body cavity and the spool that extends outwardly from a longitudinal axis, such that an increased pressure differential between the work port channel and a load sense channel increases a sealing force, allowing for a more responsive valve in the hydraulic system with less leakage.
