Abstract: A motorized compact disc tower rack can hold a high number of jewel cases in a series of belt arranged spacing sleeves which rotates between two main side supports. The side supports may accommodate side lighting for effect, as well as top lighting illumination for showcasing the jewel cases as they pass from one side of the belt to the other by flipping over the top and underneath the bottom. The side sectional shape of the path of the conveyor plurality of spacing sleeves is radiused more sharply at the top to more dramatically physically illustrate the jewel case at the top which transitions from one side of the belt arranged spacing sleeves. At the base of the tower, and forward and reverse actuation switches enable a user to select the forward or rearward movement of the conveyor of the plurality of spacing sleeves. Ideally, the user will simply watch the jewel cases as they increase their adjacent angular spacing as they flip move over the top of the tower where they are easily seen and easily grasped at the upper portion of the conveyor arrangement.

Abstract: A storage and display tower assembly transported and distributed in a disassembled in a small box. The components thereof are easily and readily assembled to the configuration selected by the user to provide the desired appearance and use. The shelves, pinch clamps, weighted base and first and second sets of rods of the kit are removed from the box. The rods of the first set are threaded into upright securement to the base; a first shelf is slid through its openings along the rods; the lower ends of the second set of rods are threaded on top of the top ends of the respective rods of the first set with a stabilizing and article display shelf, if needed, sandwiched and fixed between them; and a second shelf is slid through its openings onto the rods of the second set. Using the support clamps, the first and second shelves are mounted at the desired heights to the first and second sets of rods, respectively. Decorative elements, structural plates and/or lamps can be attached at the top of the tower thereby defined. The sets of rods can consist of three or five rods. For the five rod embodiment the adjustable shelves can be large enough to have five openings to engage all five rods or can be smaller having only three openings each for side-by-side or staggered placement on three of the five rods. The shelves are adapted to store and display various media including video cassettes and compact disc cases as well as books, plants, knick-knacks and other articles in any number of desirable and convenient arrangements. The numbers, sizes and spacings of the shelves can be adjusted by the user from time to time to store and display different articles and/or to simply provide a different look.

Abstract: A storage rack for CD-cassettes, intended for vertical mounting. The rack includes two rails, together with a number of holder members for releasably receiving a corresponding number of cassettes, and pivots for pivotally securing the holder members at two opposite ends thereof in relation to the rails. The rails include corresponding fasteners. Each holder member includes a set of two separate guide shoes. Each guide shoe includes a pivot part for the pivotally securing thereof to one of the rails and a holder part including an inner cut-out corresponding substantially to the dimensions of the corners of the actual cassettes. The guide shoes are intended for mutual co-operation by receiving one each of two opposite corners of the cassette. A resilient member is connected to at least one of the guide shoes for exerting a compressive pressure upon the cassette. A non-skid surface may be provided on the inner surface of the guide shoes. The pivot part of the guide shoes is preferably generally cylindrical.

Abstract: A multi-media storage tray for storing mixed media items such as compact discs, audio tapes Sega cartridges and Nintendo cartridges and video tapes. Dividers are located on a two-level (top and lower) divider support. The dividers and the divider supports are arranged so that the tray can be essentially filled with any combination of the above mixed media. A set of first dividers located on the top level and spaced about 1 inch apart accommodates approximately 1-inch wide video tape cases. A set of second dividers on the lower level and spaced about 1.4 inches apart accommodates two approximately 0.7-inch wide cases for audio tapes or Sega cartridges or Nintendo cartridges in between each two successive second dividers. A set of third dividers two of which are spaced between each two successive second dividers provides three 0.41-inch wide spaces between each two successive second dividers to accommodate the width of compact disc cases. The divider supports are arranged parallel to each other so that vertical walls connecting the lower level to the top level are about 4.85 inches (the length of a standard compact disc case) apart. The third dividers extend from the walls about 0.25 inch so as to provide a boundary (4.85 inches minus 0.5 inch) on the second level to accommodate the approximate 4.3-inch length of the cases for audio tapes and Sega and Nintendo cartridges.

Abstract: A rack for storing and displaying a plurality of recorded media, such as compact discs, in a vertical array. The rack has upper and lower sections, each of which has a plurality of vertical spaced compartments for slidably receiving the recorded media therein. The lower section is mounted on and extends upwardly from the base. Latching detents are formed on the top of the lower section and provide a snap-fit engagement with the bottom of the upper section to join the sections in a vertical stacked relationship.
