    摘要: A small and high-density biofuel cell capable of easily supplying fuel; and an electronic apparatus are provided. The biofuel cell is formed using a stack in which two power generating bodies that include at least a pair of electrodes and a separator are stacked through a gas diffusion layer through which only gas is permeable, the electrodes forming an anode and a cathode and having at least one surface on which an oxidoreductase is present, the separator being arranged between the electrodes and including a proton permeable membrane. In addition, cathode-side surfaces of the respective power generating bodies of the stack are arranged in contact with the gas diffusion layer. This biofuel cell is mounted on the electronic apparatus.

On one surface of the circular disk, a fuel gas channel for supplying a fuel gas to an anode is provided, and on the other surface of the circular disk, an oxygen-containing gas channel for supplying air to a cathode is provided. The fuel gas channel has an end point disposed at the outer circumferential end of the anode. A fuel gas discharge channel is connected to the end point of the fuel gas channel, such that the consumed fuel gas is emitted from a position spaced outwardly from an outer circumferential portion of the electrolyte electrode assembly.

    摘要: To provide a solid oxide fuel cell system capable of efficiently and simply controlling a low speed fuel cell module and a high speed inverter. The invention is a solid oxide fuel cell system, comprising: a fuel cell module, a fuel flow regulator unit, a control section comprising a first power demand detection circuit for controlling the fuel supply amount and for setting the value of current extractable from the fuel cell module; an inverter for extracting current from fuel cell module; and a second power demand detection circuit; and having an inverter control section for controlling the inverter independently from the fuel cell controller so that a current responsive to power demand is extracted from the fuel cell module in a range not exceeding the extractable current value input from the fuel cell controller.

    摘要: A fuel cell device is provided having an active central portion with an anode, a cathode, and an electrolyte therebetween. At least three elongate portions extend from the active central portion, each having a length substantially greater than a width transverse thereto such that the elongate portions each have a coefficient of thermal expansion having a dominant axis that is coextensive with its length. A fuel passage extends from a fuel inlet in a first elongate portion into the active central portion in association with the anode, and an oxidizer passage extends from an oxidizer inlet in a second elongate portion into the active central portion in association with the cathode. A gas passage extends between an opening in the third elongate portion and the active central portion. For example, the passage in the third elongate portion may be an exhaust passage for the spent fuel and/or oxidizer gasses.

In this configuration, the thickness (T11, T12) at both end portions in a longitudinal direction (L) of the porous substrate (1) is greater than the thickness (T2) at the center portion in the longitudinal direction (L) of the porous substrate (1).
