摘要: A fuel cell stack includes stacked cells. Each of the cells includes a plastic support frame that supports a membrane electrode assembly at a central portion of the support frame, and includes two separators that sandwich the support frame. The support frame and the two separators each have a through-hole that defines a passage through which fluid flows. An outer surface of each of the two separators in the stacking direction includes a rib. The rib protrudes from an outer edge of the separator and from a peripheral edge of the through-hole of the separator. A shape of the rib on one of the two separators is different from a shape of the rib on the other one of the two separators.

摘要: In order to provide an electrochemical device, comprising a stack of electrochemical units that succeed one another in a stack direction, wherein each electrochemical unit comprises a bipolar plate, and a terminal connector that comprises an electrically insulating housing and a plurality of electrically conductive contact elements, wherein the stack of electrochemical units of the electrochemical device is configured to make safe, reliable and robust electrical contact for continuous measurement of the electrical potentials of the bipolar plates of the stack, it is proposed that a plurality of the bipolar plates each comprise a terminal element that projects in a contact-making direction, beyond lateral edges of the bipolar plate adjacent to the terminal element, wherein the terminal element has at least one latching element with which the terminal connector is latchable, and/or has at least one contact-making bead with which, in a mounted condition of the terminal connector, one of the contact elements of the terminal connector is engageable, in order to make an electrically conductive contact between the bipolar plate and the respectively associated contact element of the terminal connector.

摘要: A fuel cell module includes a container and a plurality of cell members radially arranged inside the container. Inside the container, a first fluid flow path through which a first fluid that exchanges heat with an inner portion of the plurality of cell members flows is formed, and a second fluid flow path through which a second fluid that exchanges heat with an outer portion of the plurality of cell members flows is formed. A first heat exchange portion that forms the first fluid flow path and exchanges heat with the cell member has a smaller heat transfer area with the cell member than a second heat exchange portion that forms the second fluid flow path and exchanges heat with the cell member. The first fluid having a larger temperature difference with the cell member than the second fluid flows in the first fluid flow path.

摘要: A first positioning hole is formed in a first positioning portion of a separator member, which is a fuel cell separator member forming a fuel cell stack. The first positioning portion includes a reinforcing rib and a joint portion. The reinforcing rib extends linearly outside the first positioning hole and protrudes from each of a first metal separator and a second metal separator. The joint portion is located between the reinforcing rib and the first positioning hole, and the first metal separator and the second metal separator are joined together at the joint portion.
