摘要: A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell stack, a valve controlling cooling water to flow to at least one of a cooling line including the fuel cell stack and a radiator and a bypass line different from the cooling line, a heater increasing a temperature of the cooling water, an ion filter removing ions in the cooling water, and a controller determining a starting method of the fuel cell based on an outside air temperature and the temperature of the cooling water at an inlet of the fuel cell stack and determining an opening angle of the valve and an operation of the heater based on the temperature of the cooling water passing through the valve and the temperature of the cooling water passing through a connection line including the ion filter and connected to the cooling line and the bypass line when the starting method is cold start.

摘要: The present disclosure relates generally to portable energy generation devices and methods. The devices are designed to covert formic acid into released hydrogen, alleviating the need for a hydrogen tank as a hydrogen source for fuel cell power. In particular, an electricity generation device for powering a battery comprising a formic acid reservoir containing a liquid consisting of formic acid; a reaction chamber capable of using a catalyst and heat to convert the formic acid to hydrogen and carbon dioxide; a fuel cell that generates electricity; a delivery system for moving converted hydrogen into the fuel cell; and a battery powered by electricity generated by the fuel cell is provided.

摘要: A fuel cell system includes a coolant control valve to switch a flowing path of a coolant passing through a fluid passage connected to a fuel cell stack, and a controller to control a valve opening amount of the coolant control valve while performing a start sequence previously defined, when a condition for normal start of the fuel cell stack is satisfied, and the coolant control valve is formed by integrating a first valve to switch a flowing path of a coolant flowing into a first pump with a second valve to switch a flowing path of a coolant pumped by the first pump.

摘要: Proposed are a system for preheating a fuel cell for a fuel cell vehicle and a method controlling the system. An information collector collects start pattern information regarding a start pattern of a driver including start dates, positions, and times of a fuel cell vehicle when the vehicle is started. A controller classifies a start date in the start pattern information of the driver as a weekday group or a weekend group, classifies a start position in which the start of the vehicle is concentrated as a position group, classifies a start time in which the start of the vehicle is concentrated as a time group, deduces a predicted next start time based on each group when the vehicle is stopped, and controls a temperature increase of a fuel cell based on the predicted next start time when the fuel cell is stopped.

摘要: A fuel cell system that raises temperature of fuel cells by supplying heated air to the fuel cells during starting up period. The fuel cell system includes a plurality of fuel cells, a fuel supply path connected parallelly to the fuel cells to provide fuel thereto, an air supply path connected serially to the fuel cells to provide air thereto, a heat exchanger arranged in the fuel supply path to heat air or fuel, an air heat exchanger arranged in the air supply path to heat air; and a connection path connecting a position of the air supply path upstream to the air heat exchanger with a position of the fuel supply path upstream to the heat exchanger. A first control valve is arranged in the air supply path for controlling the air flowing into to the air heat exchanger. A second control valve arranged in the connection path for controlling the air flowing into the heat exchanger. The fuel cell system controls opening degrees of the first and second control valves during the start-up period of the fuel cell system to supply heated air to the fuel cells through both the air supply path and the fuel supply path.

摘要: A power system for an unmanned surface vehicle includes a fuel cell including a fuel cell stack, where the fuel cell stack includes a fuel inlet. The power system also includes a fuel storage including at least one fuel-storage module fluidly connected to the fuel inlet of the fuel cell stack. The fuel-storage module is a source of energy for the fuel cell. The power system also includes a fuel and thermal management system fluidly connected to the fuel inlet of the fuel cell stack. The fuel and thermal management system includes a heat exchanger in thermal communication with the fuel cell stack for removing waste heat produced by the fuel cell stack during operation. The fuel and thermal management system also includes a flow valve, a pressure regulator, and a conduit.

摘要: In a fuel cell system, a first rubber seal is interposed between a top part of a first seal bead portion that is formed to protrude toward a first separator main body, and a membrane electrode assembly member. A method of low temperature starting of the fuel cell system includes: a warm-up step of warming up a fuel cell stack by introducing an oxygen containing gas discharged from a compressor, into a case interior space in a state in which a temperature of the oxygen containing gas is raised by causing the oxygen containing gas to flow through a pressure loss member; and an electrical power generating step of initiating generation of electrical power after completion of the warm-up step.
