Abstract:
A switching cabinet includes a rack. The rack includes two individual frames. Each of the frames includes four braces sequentially coupled together to be rectangle-shaped. The frames are arranged to form front and rear portions of the rack in a depth direction of the rack. An assembly method of the switching cabinet includes steps: 1) providing braces; 2) connecting a part of the braces to form a first frame; 3) connecting the other part of the braces to form a second frame; 4) arranging the first and second frames to form front and rear portions of the switching cabinet in a depth direction of the switching cabinet.
Abstract:
IMPROVEMENT TO THE METALLIC STRUCTURE FOR MANUFACTURING ELECTRICAL PANELS/CABINETS, enclosing a structure of metallic cross sections (5), with the means for supporting the parts making up the external walls from folded sheets, as well as constituting the means for supporting and mounting the doors with its respective hinges and other accessories, such as: the upper (6) and lower enclosure with the base (7) and other components, being that, still, same structure, although, on the inside, also configures the necessary mounts for distributing and assembling the different electrical and electronic components and devices; in the first construction version, the said structure (5) presented semi-assembled, where four of its uprights or four of its cross sections (P1) are completely free whilst all the other cross sections are rigidly integrated into two equal rectangular frames (8) which form the two opposite sides of the said structure (5) and therefore at the corner point of the junction of each rectangular frame (8) there is a complementary device (9) cooperating for the interlinking at 90° between two adjacent cross sections (P2) and (P3) of each frame (8), as also this selfsame device presents the means so that the extremities of the other cross sections (P1) may be coupled between the corners of the rectangular frames (8), thus forming the structure (5).
Abstract:
A frame for a switchgear cabinet including horizontal and vertical frame pieces of the front and rear side each forming a vertical frame. The vertical frames are joined to one another by a bottom element and a top element. The vertical frames can be placed at different intervals on beveled fastening edges of the bottom and top elements. The vertical frame pieces have a base limb, which extends in a direction of the frame depth and to which two lateral limbs are coupled. The lateral limbs are situated at a right angle to the base limb, and the lateral limbs and the base limb each have a row of fastening locations with a distribution pattern, wherein the row runs in the longitudinal direction of the frame pieces. The distribution pattern of both lateral limbs differ from one another, and both vertical frame pieces form an imperial fastening plane with the fastening locations of the first lateral limbs, and form a metric fastening plane with the fastening locations of the second lateral limbs.
Abstract:
In a cabinet having vertically extending side members (5) forming part of a chassis of the cabinet, panel mounts (1), also to extend vertically in the cabinet and to have panels mounted thereupon, are mountable to the side members (5) by integral members (3) which extend parallel to the outer face of the panel mount (1) at a spacing from the outer face and in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal extent of the panel mount (1), i.e., horizontally. The integral members (3) are engaged in respective apertures in the side members (5) or in braces (7) extending between the side members (5) followed by forward or rearward movement to effect securement, retaining means such as pins or studs then being inserted in aligned bores (8, 9) in the panel mounts (1) and side members (5) to prevent return movement.
Abstract:
A cabinet for mounting electronic equipment having power input port mounted external to the frame of the cabinet in order to make installation of a power input unit more convenient. The power input port may be mounted on the bottom of the cabinet whereby the power input unit, for example, a power distribution unit, may be installed prior to, during, or after installation of the cabinet. In addition, among other things, the mounting of a power input unit outside the frame of the cabinet provides for improved accessability and servicing of the power input unit and provides for more usable space inside the cabinet frame.
Abstract:
A switchgear cabinet with a cuboid rack assembled from frame legs, wherein free spaces are formed in areas of outer corner edges for receiving folded edges of meeting panel elements. If at least the folded edges of the vertical panel elements have at least two folded sections, which adjoin the panel elements whose insides are located directly, or via sealing elements, on the outer levels of the rack, and protrude into the free space of the facing frame leg, and the folded end sections extend parallel with respect to the median line of the outer levels meeting each other and their outsides are at the preset distance from the median line, then a transition which is symmetrical to the median line and has a narrow gap in the area of the outer corner edges and increased vandalism proofing is accomplished.
Abstract:
A cabinet for supporting electronic equipment. The cabinet has a rigid internal assembly structure and a cladding kit. The internal assembly defines a cavity into which the electronic equipment can be fitted. The internal assembly structure has height, a plurality of posts, and at least two panels. Each of the panels has a plurality of recesses formed therein. At least one post includes mounting tabs positionable within the recesses formed within the panels for precisely locating the post with respect to the panels. The cladding kit has at least two post trims connected to the internal assembly structure and at least one panel connected to the post trims. Each of the post trims has a body member, a first connector and a second connector. The first connector and the second connector of the post trim cooperate to connect the post trim to the posts of the internal assembly structure.
Abstract:
An electronic equipment frame has two side assemblies each formed of two separate configured corner support channel members rigidly connected by welding by a series of cross struts, and rigidly welded to separate top panel and bottom panel assemblies, with each corner support channel member having a deep, flat-bottomed, V-shaped central channel portion where the angled sidewalls extend to the same depth as the outer end walls of the corner support channel member. The respective ends of each corner support channel member also have extension length portions which permit extended length weld areas for rigidly connecting the respective top and bottom panel assemblies thereto.
Abstract:
An arrangement for supporting an electronic equipment cabinet, and a method for supporting an electronic equipment cabinet which provide a more stable mounting for supporting devices, such as casters and seismic supports. The arrangement and method of supporting can be utilized with an electronic equipment cabinet having a rigid frame structure comprised of vertical and horizontal support members. The horizontal support members provide mounting surfaces to which supporting devices, such as casters, seismic supports, and the like, can be mounted to provide a stronger, more rigid mounting that is less susceptible to deflection and failure.
Abstract:
A trim piece for mounting to an electronic equipment cabinet, a mounting arrangement, and a method of mounting a trim piece to an electronic equipment cabinet or rack. The trim piece may be mounted on a support member of an electronic equipment cabinet to conceal a recess in the support member, for example, a recess used to route electrical wires or cables. The trim piece may also be mounted to a cabinet to conceal equipment mounting holes in the frame of the cabinet. The trim piece may include projections or recesses for attaching to the frame or support members. A trim piece may be mounted by means of intermediate spacers that may be threaded into the mounting holes in the frame. The spacers may provide means for mounting the trim piece to the spacers, for example, by means of a snap fit or slide fit.
