摘要: The piezoelectric collector is used to collect and increase the pressure on the piezoelectric elements and the energy they produce. It consists of a frame (12), a primary piston (1) in contact with a source of variable pressure, the second end of which is located in a hollow hydraulic chamber (2), in which the first end of the secondary piston (3) is located, the other end is in contact with the press (4). The device includes one or more piezoelectric elements (8) connected to the electrical network (10), located in series, and the last piezoelectric element (8) is supported on the buffer (9). The device gives high energy efficiency, provided by the included mechanical-hydraulic reinforcement, as well as a multitude of piezoelectric elements activated simultaneously by variable external pressure.

摘要: This invention comprises a panel or system of panels. Each panel comprises a top layer, which is comprised of tempered glass that is highly transparent to allow for maximum light wave transmission. These solar light waves are captured by the photovoltaic cell which comprises the second layer of the panel where this solar energy is converted into usable electrical energy. Vibrations experienced by the photopiezoelectric panel due to foot and lightweight vehicle traffic are absorbed by the PZT sheet layer, which is the third layer of the panel where they are converted into usable electrical energy. The fourth and final layer of the panel consists of the connector plate which serves as the hub and interconnection for gathering the generated electrical energies and transmitting them into the modular grid network to be consumed by various load devices, such as streetlights and other power-dependent city infrastructure.

摘要: An energy harvester for use to provide power to metrology hardware like gas meters and flow measuring devices. The energy harvester may include an actuator that mounts to a substrate found in the gas meter or in an adjacent, collateral device like a pressure regulator. The substrate may embody a diaphragm or membrane, possibly a thin, flexible or semi-rigid member. The actuator may include piezoelectric transducers that mount to this member. In operation, the piezoelectric transducers can generate an electrical signal in response to mechanical activity (or energy) from the thin member. The electrical signal can be directed to the flow device to replace, supplement, or recharge a power source that powers electronics necessary to expand functions on the flow meter.
