Abstract:
A network system includes an image projection apparatus that projects image data; a first terminal; and a second terminal where the first terminal includes an original image data storing unit that stores original image data and a corresponding information generating unit that generates corresponding information in which image identification data of the image data for projection, generated from the original image data, capable of identifying the original image data and terminal identification data for identifying the first terminal correspond with each other, and the image projection apparatus includes a request sending unit that sends, upon receiving a request for delivering the image data being projected from the second terminal, the request for delivering the original image data including the image identification data, which is included in the corresponding information stored in the storing unit, to the first terminal.
Abstract:
An image processing system includes a first image processing apparatus and a second image processing apparatus that are connected via a network in which communication is performed based on a local protocol. The cooperative processing is performed between the first and second image forming apparatuses via the network.
Abstract:
A printer includes: a receiving unit for receiving a first print notification from a notification server; a transmitting unit for transmitting a first conversion instruction including a first target location information representing a location for specifying the target print data to a conversion server when the first print notification is received from the notification server, wherein the first conversion instruction is for controlling the conversion server to obtain the target print data using the first target location information and to convert the target print data; a print data obtaining unit for obtaining converted print data having a format that can be interpreted by the printer from the conversion server when the conversion server generates the converted print data in accordance with the first conversion instruction; and a print control unit for controlling a print performing unit to perform printing in accordance with the converted print data.
Abstract:
A method of inserting a scanned document includes inputting a user command to select a position in a first document file where to insert a second document file, generating a file corresponding to the second document file, to have same format as the first document file, and generating a third document file in which the second document file is inserted in the first document file, at the selected position.
Abstract:
A document transmission apparatus reduces troublesome labor of an operator when transmitting document data, inputted from a scanner or the like, by various transmission methods such as electronic mail, facsimile, remote printing and file transfer. An address book containing a receiver and a plurality of transmission methods for transmitting document data to the receiver is generated. Upon transmission instruction, an appropriate transmission method is selected by the receiver, then document data is converted into data of an appropriate data format, and the converted data is transmitted. Further, a notice of transmission indicating that the document data has been transmitted is transmitted to the receiver of the document data by a method different from the transmission method of the document data. Thus, the document data can be reliably delivered to the receiver.
Abstract:
What is disclosed are a novel system and method for transforming coordinates in an image processing system. In one embodiment, image data is received in a first coordinate space and second coordinate space information is received. A first selection is made, based on a set of relative coordinate space mappings, to select at least a first transformation for mapping of the image data in the first coordinate space to an intermediate image canonical coordinate space using at least a first coordinate change matrix. The intermediate image canonical coordinate space has coordinates which are independent of the image processing system. A second selection is made, based on the set of relative coordinate space mappings, to select at least a second transformation for mapping from the intermediate image canonical coordinate space to the second coordinate space using at least a second coordinate change matrix to transform the intermediate image canonical coordinate space.
Abstract:
A multifunction peripheral includes two types of communication parts that communicate based on communication destination information, a communication designation information database in which identification information are stored, and a post-process controller that determines that the communication destination information for a same destination is updated when either one of the communication destination information in the communication destination information database is updated, and determines that the communication destination information for another destination is assigned to the identification information when both of the communication destination information in the communication destination information database are updated.
Abstract:
A print control server includes a print request receiving section which receives an e-mail to an e-mail address assigned to a specific printer as a print request; an induction section which transmits identification information related to the print request to a source of the print request by an e-mail; a print control demand receiving section which transmits the print control page related to the print request after acquiring a print control page demand based on the identification information, and receives a print execution demand to the print request related to the print control page; a data conversion section which creates the print data based on the print request; and a print data transmission section which transmits the print data to the specific printer depending on the print execution demand.
Abstract:
Methods and system for transferring images between devices is disclosed. For example, differently scaled images by a host device may automatically and/or selectively be transferred to a media player for display. In turn, appropriately scaled images may be transferred automatically and/or selectively to another display device for example a TV, camera or printer. The selectivity may occur either at the host level or at the player level.
