摘要: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided herein to provide service continuity between a Stand-alone Non-Public Network (SNPN) and a Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN). For example, a method is provided that comprises after determining that the user equipment (UE) with the first protocol data unit (PDU) session established in the first SNPN is or will be leaving the coverage area of the first SNPN, causing a request message to be transmitted to the UE, wherein the request message comprises a request to initiate a second PDU session establishment procedure towards a PLMN. The method also includes causing the UE to establish the second PDU session with an internet protocol anchor function of a user plane function in the PLMN via the first SNPN radio access network (RAN) or via the PLMN RAN, wherein the second PDU session is established prior to release of the first PDU session.

摘要: An access network can allocate a bearer for a network service associated with a quality-of-service (QoS) value (QV) and a retention-priority value (RPV), and determine a bearer ID for the service based on the QV, the RPV, and a supplemental priority value (SPV) different from the QV and from the RPV. Upon handover of a terminal, session(s) carried by a bearer allocated by the terminal can be terminated. That bearer can be selected using IDs of the bearers and a comparison function that, given two bearer IDs, determines which respective bearer should be terminated before the other. Upon handover of a terminal to an access network supporting fewer bearers per terminal than the terminal has allocated, a network node can select a bearer based on respective QVs and RPVs of a set of allocated bearers. The network node can deallocate the selected bearer.

摘要: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided to allow for the allocation and/or other deployment of a complementary network slice to partially and/or fully replace a network slice associated with a piece of user equipment when the piece of user equipment moves outside of the area associated with its current network slice application. When a piece of user equipment moves outside of its current network slice, application area, its services may be provided over a complementary network slice, or a complementary network slice may be allocated for a non-supporting user equipment to be used in the RAN and/or core network. In some example implementations, the allocation and/or other use of one or more complementary network slices enables the operator to predefine and use sets of policies that may differ from those associated with a user equipment's current and/or typical network slice.

摘要: Some embodiments of this disclosure include apparatuses and methods for managing a fast return of a user equipment (UE) to 5G systems (5GS) after handover to Evolved Packet System (EPS) due to EPS fallback from 5GS. The method can include at least generating a handover request including an indication indicating a handover reason of no presence of quality of service (QoS) flow for a voice signal to the UE; receiving a handover command generated by an access and mobility management function (AMF) to transfer the UE from the 5GS to the EPS based on the handover request; transmitting the handover command to the UE for the UE to establish a connection with the EPS; and after the flow of the voice signal has terminated, re-establishing a connection with the UE to reconnect the UE to the 5GS, wherein the connection with the BS is re-established based on a target ID of the BS.

摘要: A method performed by an Access and mobility Management Function (AMF) node for allocating a target network slice instance to serve a (PDU) session for a User Equipment (UE). The AMF node receives (501), from a Network Slice Selection Function (NSSF) node, information about a decision to change an allocation of a first network slice instance that is serving the PDU session to the target network slice instance, and an identifier of the target network slice instance. The AMF node then retrieves (502), from a first Session Management Function (SMF) node of the first network slice instance, a UE context related to the UE and the PDU session. The AMF node transmits (504), towards a target SMF node of the target network slice instance, information about the retrieved UE context and Access Network (AN) tunnel information to be used for the PDU session. The AMF node receives (505), from the target SMF node, target Core Network (CN) tunnel information to be used for the PDU session. The AMF node then allocates the target network slice instance to route data flows pertaining to the PDU session by transmitting (500), towards an AN node, the target CN tunnel information to be used for the PDU session Publ.

摘要: Methods and systems for providing a connectivity map to a user equipment (UE) in a wireless network are disclosed. Exemplary methods comprise receiving a request for connectivity information from the UE, sending the request for connectivity information to a connectivity map service application program interface (API), receiving, from the connectivity map service API, a connectivity map, and sending the connectivity map to the UE in response to the request for connectivity information. The connectivity map may be generated using a location and state information associated with one or more nearby APs stored in a database and may comprise a list of available spectrum and one or more parameters associated with each available spectrum. The connectivity map may be used to select at least one of a network, a data-path, a network route, a connectivity strategy, or a spectrum for the UE.

摘要: A network device may receive network data identifying core networks supported by the network device and emergency service data identifying one or more of the core networks that support emergency services. The network device may generate, based on the network data and the emergency service data, system information that includes identifiers of the core networks and indicators of whether the core networks support emergency services. The network device may provide the system information to a user equipment to inform the user equipment about which of the core networks support emergency services.

摘要: Systems, methods and computer software are disclosed for a Self Organizing Network (SON) Radio Access Technology (RAT) selection for User Equipment (UE) in a virtualized Radio Access Network (RAN) environment. In one embodiment, a method is disclosed, comprising: establishing, by the UE, a Signaling Radio Bearer (SRB) and at least one Data Radio Bearer (DRB) with a Virtual node (Vnode); determining, by the SON, whether the Vnode has reached a data saturation limit; when the Vnode has reached the data saturation limit, then determining whether there is another RAT Vnode which can provide better data throughput; and when there is another RAT Vnode which can provide better data throughput, then initiating a handover procedure for the UE and specifying a target cell located in a same geographic area.

摘要: This application provides an interference randomization method and apparatus, to resolve a problem of continuous interference that may be caused by a configuration of a reference signal, especially a positioning reference signal, in a beam scenario. The method includes: A terminal device receives interference randomization configuration information, where the interference randomization configuration information includes configuration information in at least two time periods, receiving modes of a reference signal in the at least two time periods are different, and the receiving mode is used to indicate a receiving status of the terminal device for the reference signal on a reference signal resource or a reference signal resource set. The terminal device receives the reference signal based on the interference randomization configuration information.
