    摘要： Described herein is a drive unit for a machining center of modular construction comprising different work modules with tools which are positively controlled with respect to time, e.g. bending tools, front-feed devices, welding stations, assembly units or the like. The drive unit is constructed as a press which comprises the main drive for the machining center. The drive of adjacent work modules is effected via meshing toothed wheels which bridge the interface planes between the work modules, so that the drive unit can be integrated into the machining center in a space-saving and economical manner.

    摘要： A wood cutting apparatus for cutting a workpiece from a stock of material includes a guide device for moving the stock material through the apparatus and a pair of saws located to opposite sides of the guide device for movement across the stock material to cut the workpieces to a selected configuration off the stock material. A movable workpiece holder is located at the end of the guide device which holds and supports the portion of the stock material composing the piece being cut off the stock material. An ejector ejects a severed workpiece from the workpiece holder as the workpiece holder moves.

    摘要： A cement block splitter is disclosed. The cement block splitter comprises a splitter frame adapted to be mounted perpendicularly over a conveyor belt carrying several consecutive rows of cement blocks, two tables mounted on the splitter frame, one on each side of the conveyor belt at the same level as the conveyor belt, a pair of cutter supports mounted at each end of the splitter frame and each supporting a fixed lower cutter blade located at the level of each cable and an upper blade pivotally mounted on the splitter frame and located above the lower cutter blade, a first carriage frame mounted for reciprocating movement on the splitter frame and adapted to sequentially move the cement blocks of each row between one pair of cutter blades in one direction of movement and between the other pair of cutter blades in the opposite direction of movement of the first carriage frame, and a second carriage frame slidably mounted on the first carriage frame for moving the cement blocks off the conveyor belt onto respective tables in both directions of movement of the first carriage frame.
