Abstract: A shifting control method for a vehicle with a dual clutch transmission (DCT), the shifting control method may include controlling engine torque to be increased according to reserve demand torque by giving the reserve demand torque of an engine to be increased to a predetermined value or more when if a controller determines that the vehicle enters a manual power off and downshift shifting; controlling, by the controller, a release side clutch to be released; controlling, by the controller, an engine torque to perform a control so that engine speed follows coupling side input shaft speed; and completing the shifting by performing a control so that a coupling side clutch is coupled when it is determined that the actual shift is completed.

Abstract: A control method for a vehicle with a Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) may include: determining whether it is a wheel speed-unknown state by a TCU, determining whether an input shaft speed sensor is in a normal state when it is the wheel speed-unknown state, determining whether IG-OFF occurs when it is the wheel speed-unknown state and the input shaft speed sensor IS for is in a normal state, storing information related to the current wheel speed-unknown state and an output shaft speed of the DCT determined by the input shaft speed sensor, determining whether the TCU is not in TCU latch-off and whether it was the wheel speed-unknown state immediately before IG-OFF on the basis of the stored data, when IG-ON occurs, and performing pre-engaging on the basis of the DCT output shaft speed stored immediately after IG-OFF, when the TCU is not in latch-off and it was the wheel speed-unknown state immediately before IG-OFF.

Abstract: A vehicle is equipped with a dual clutch transmission controlled by a shifting control method to achieve quick shifting and direct engaging through quick synchronous control of the rotational speed of an engine and cooperative control of engine torque when a driver intends to rapidly accelerate the vehicle while shifting. The method includes: a rapid acceleration determining step in which a controller determines whether the vehicle is rapidly accelerated based on an output value according to a driving state of the vehicle until a torque handover period is entered, when shifting is started; and an interlocking step of controlling the engagement clutch torque over a predetermined desired engagement clutch torque to cause interlocking based on a torque value determined in accordance with a rapid acceleration level determined in the torque handover period, when the controller determines that the vehicle is rapidly accelerated.

Abstract: A method is provided for preselecting a gear in a multi-clutch transmission of a vehicle upon exiting free-wheeling state, wherein the multi-clutch transmission being operated in a free-wheeling state having a gear of a first set of gears preselected and a first friction clutch being disengaged; the method including the steps of: A) upon determining that at least one predetermined condition for exiting free-wheeling state is met; increasing the rotational speed of the prime mover towards a rotational synchronization speed of the preselected gear; the second friction clutch being in a closed state such that the rotational speed of the input shaft of the second friction clutch increases with the increasing rotational speed of the prime mover; B) disengaging the second friction clutch; C) engaging, at a suitable time point, at least one tooth clutch of the second subset of the tooth clutches corresponding to a gear of the second set of gears such that the gear of the second set of gears becomes preselected.
