    摘要: An equipment system for a self-retaining mining method mainly comprises a transition support, an end support, a following support, and a fast-retracting support. Working face gateroads do not need to advance in mining, and a coal mining machine may be used to cut a neat coal wall at the end of a district. The entry rib is automatically formed after roof caving, thus forming a gateroad in a re-mining process. The coal mining machine is under digital control when its end cuts the coal, automatically enabling the end to laterally cut the coal wall to form a vertical straight line, which is used as the entry rib of the gateroad. A scrapper conveyor works in coordination with an arc-shaped coal grabbing plate of the coal mining machine to clean up float coal at the end as much as possible.

    摘要: A post pulling attachment system which easily attaches and detaches from a bucket to aid in safely and efficiently removing a post from the ground. The post pulling attachment system generally includes an outer securing plate and an inner securing plate which are positioned on either side of a bucket. Each of the securing plates includes a plurality of corresponding apertures through which a pair of removal members are extended both to secure the present invention to the bucket and to aid in removing a post. When installed, the removal members will extend outwardly from the bucket in spaced-apart relationship. By positioning a post between the removal members, rotating the bucket to jam the post therein and then lifting the bucket, a post may safely and efficiently be removed from the ground without use of a chain.

    摘要: A support assembly (1) is provided for the roof or hanging wall (36, 114) of an underground mine. The assembly comprises at least one support elongate (30) and a grout bag (2, 60, 80, 90, 102, 108, 120) used in association therewith and wherein the grout bag is inflated with settable granular material or grout (42). The support elongate is substantially surrounded, in plan view, by the grout bag and set granular material or grout contained therein. Preferably at least one cross-member (28) extends generally diametrically across the top of the support assembly and is anchored to the roof or hanging wall by the support elongate. The grout bag is preferably suspended from the end regions of the cross-member. Various grout bags for inclusion in such a support assembly are also provided.

    摘要: A support for use in mines and other underground workings is provided comprising a flexible inflatable bag configured for receiving a pumpable load-bearing material. A reinforcing material is provided for supporting the bag when the bag is filled with the load-bearing material. The reinforcing material can include reinforcing plates, rings, bands or barrels positioned about the outer periphery of the bag. Alternatively, the support can be formed from a plurality of stackable barrels that are filled with load-bearing material but without the inflatable bag. The barrels can include internal reinforcing or cladding material at spaced locations along the barrels to define controlled deflection zones. According to another design, the support can be designed to be extensible. The support is inexpensive to transport, can be erected on-site and has a reinforced structure with residual yield strength. A method for supporting a mine or other underground workings is disclosed.

    摘要: A prefabricated cribbing column for supporting a mine roof. The column includes a plurality of concrete cribbing elements the majority of which are interleaved with load transfer disks. Two of the cribbing elements are interleaved with a handle element. The column assembly of cribbing elements, load transfer disks, and handle element are secured together in an integral unit by a steel strap. The handle element extends substantially beyond the outer periphery of the cribbing elements enabling access and lifting by a forklift or similar machinery. The handle element enables the integral column to be easily moved from one location to another. The cribbing elements are preferably constructed of steel fiber reinforced concrete. A column consisting of five cribbing elements has shown to be capable of supporting a load of 575 tons with a deflection of 2.5 inches or less.

    摘要: A mine prop is comprised of an elongate tube having a slenderness ratio that would generally allow buckling or kneeling of the elongate tube when exposed to a sufficient axial force. A plurality of elongate support members having a length less than the elongate tube are attached to the tube to prevent buckling or kneeling of the elongate tube along the portion of the tube to which the elongate support members are attached. The portions of the tube that are unsupported by the elongate support members define one or more yieldable zones proximate at least one end of the tube. A compressible filler material is disposed within at least portion of the tube to support yielding in the yieldable zone.
