摘要： A relief vent including a vent body having an opening configured to be in communication with the internal volume of a tank. The relief vent further includes a movable portion that is movable relative to the vent body. The movable portion or the vent body includes a base and a sealing member coupled thereto. At least part of the sealing member is elastically deformed to press at least a portion the sealing member against the base. The portion of the sealing member pressed against the base is positioned to sealingly engage the other one of the movable portion or the vent body.

摘要： An anti-siphon device for a flush valve having an air-inlet sealing diaphragm, a diaphragm bracket with an air inlet, a flex sleeve, a venting bracket, and an offsetting spring. The deformation power of the air-inlet sealing diaphragm is comparatively small. When compared with existing anti-siphon reflux devices, this anti-siphon device has a very low current pressure loss and can prevent leaking. When the anti-siphon device is applied in heating and plumbing devices, such as a flush valve, the current pressure can be retained and thus satisfactory flush effect is achieved.

摘要： A vent apparatus is opened to allow free flow of fuel vapor from a vehicle fuel tank through the vent apparatus to a fuel vapor recovery canister during tank refueling until a predetermined level of liquid fuel is reached in the vent apparatus. Once refueling has been completed, the vent apparatus is closed to block or limit further flow of liquid fuel to the vent apparatus. At the same time, fuel vapor discharge passageways in the vent apparatus that had been closed once the fuel tank had been filled to a predetermined capacity with liquid fuel are reopened so that fuel vapor can flow freely from the fuel tank to the canister even though the volume or height of liquid fuel in the fuel tank has not decreased since the tank was filled during refueling.

摘要： A pipe plug includes two or more pivotally connected plugging heads that work in combination to double block and bleed a pipe. At least one of the plugging heads has an expandable sealing element that is in communication with an inflation source. The sealing element may be an inflatable sealing element or a compression packer sealing element. A passageway-sections of which may pass through the pivotal connection and into the plugging head-carries the inflation medium from the source to the sealing element. A bleed port passageway is also provided that passes through the plugging head. The leading plugging head may include a cleaning element for sweeping away debris ahead of the plug. The plugging heads may also include a skid plate that slideably engages the interior surface of the pipe to properly orient the plugging heads within the pipe.

摘要： A valve includes a body; a liquid flow passage defined in the body and including a liquid inlet and a liquid outlet; a vent passage defined in the body and including an air inlet and an air outlet; a valve seat defined in the liquid flow passage; a liquid seal located adjacent the valve seat; a stem connected to the liquid seal and extending in the liquid flow passage away from the liquid seal through an aperture defined in the body. The stem includes a distal end located external to the body. The stem is movable to and from a first position where the liquid seal is mated with the valve seat and a second position where the liquid seal is unseated from the valve seat. An actuator is connected to the distal end of the stem. The actuator is selectively movable to move the stem from the first position to the second position. A check-valve is adapted to block flow of liquid from the air outlet to the air inlet in the vent passage, and to allow flow of air from the air inlet to the air outlet in said vent passage. The valve optionally further includes a surge control device and/or a keeper for the check-valve seal.

摘要： The present invention provides a ball cock for a railway vehicle which comprises a main body possessing a primary-side opening and a secondary-side opening which face one another and an air exhaust aperture which is formed between these openings. Such ball cock further incudes a ball-shaped valve body which is rotatably provided inside such main body and in which there is formed a communication aperture which connects the primary side opening and the secondary-side opening and a side aperture which, consequent to its rotation, connects the air exhaust aperture and either the primary-side or secondary-side opening. There is formed in the main body's air exhaust aperture a pipe connection to which can be connected a restrictor. In another embodiment an extension pipe is connected to such pipe connection in such air exhaust aperture. Such pipe extension forms a bend portion which causes its opening surface to be positioned lower than a generally horizontal direction when, in accordance with the state in which the main body is fitted to a railway vehicle, its air exhaust aperture is positioned upwardly from such horizontal direction.

摘要： A lockout valve comprises a body with an inlet passage and an outlet passage which define a longitudinally-extending flow path through the body. A flow interrupter device, or slide, is mounted for transverse movement within the body. The slide can be located in a closed position, whereby fluid is prevented from flowing from the inlet passage to the outlet passage, but fluid downstream of the lockout valve is allowed to vent to atmosphere; to an intermediate bleed position, whereby restricted fluid flow is allowed from the inlet passage to the outlet passage through a bleed aperture; and to a fully open position whereby fluid is allowed to flow substantially unimpeded through a flow aperture from the inlet passage to the outlet passage. A latch normally prevents the slide from moving from the bleed position to the open position while fluid pressure rises across the lockout valve. The latch can be manually manipulated to allow the slide to be moved to the open position.
