    摘要: An apparatus for mounting a magnetometer including a frame and a platform mounted for rotation within the frame. The magnetometer and one or more counterweights are mounted within the platform such that gravity acting on the counterweights maintains the magnetometer in a horizontal orientation. A first coil is coupled in parallel with the magnetometer and is wound around the perimeter of the platform. A second coil is wound around the perimeter of the frame such that the first and second coils form an air core transformer. The second coil terminates in two terminals which provide a communication port. A sensing circuit coupled to the port electrically communicates with the magnetometer via the inductive coupling provided by the transformer. In alternative embodiments, each of the first and second coils is implemented as two coils with associated diodes. The coils are wound such that they create four transformers, two of the transformers being characterized by a first coupling coefficient and two of the transformers being characterized by a second coupling coefficient. In this embodiment, the inductive coupling provided by the four transformers permits a sensing circuit to apply a bias signal to the magnetometer thereby driving the magnetometer to null balance so that it does not magnetically interfere with any other magnetometers in close proximity, and to allow the magnetometer to operate in a more linear fashion.

    摘要: A magnetic field detecting device, particularly for detecting the earth's magnetic field, includes one or more amorphous or microcrystalline magnetic fibres having two bistable magnetization states and surrounded by one single measuring coil (103). The measuring coil is supplied with a periodically changing control signal (101a) which is superposed with a detected signal (103a) contingent on the sensed magnetic field. The detected signal is caused to control a flip-flop (122) which influences the working direction of an integrator (101), the output signal of which forms a performance signal in addition to forming said control signal. The performance signal (101c, 106a) is processed in a microprocessor (107), to which a control signal (122b) is also delivered from the flip-flop, and is able to restart the circuit when a control signal fails to appear.

For this purpose, a constant magnetic field Hg containing an earth's field component He' and the interference field component Hs, is measured by the magnetometer in a first position of the vehicle (Hg1) and then in a second position (Hg2) in which the vehicle is turned by 180.degree.. From the measured constant field magnitudes and directions, (Hg1, Hg2) the interference field component Hs is calculated according to vector equation H.sub.s +1/2 (Hg 1+Hg 2).

    摘要: In a zigzag running warning system for automotive vehicles which detects and gives a warning of zigzag running of a vehicle, a terrestrial magnetism sensor generates an electric signal having an amplitude varying in dependence on the direction of travel of the vehicle with respect to the direction of the terrestrial magnetism. An electronic unit in the system discriminates that vehicle is running in a zigzag direction when the amplitude of the electric signals changes in excess of a predetermined value at a period which is less than a predetermined time, and informs the driver of the zigzag running by a speaker, lamp or the like.
