    摘要: An electronic clock includes a usual oscillator and a more accurate oscillator. The usual oscillator generates a first frequency which causes the electronic clock to operate and the more accurate oscillator generates a second frequency which is used as a reference frequency. Referring to the second frequency, the first frequency is measured by a frequency measurement circuit and a deviation of the first frequency from a design frequency is calculated by a processor. According to the deviation, time correction of the electronic clock is performed. Therefore, even if an actual oscillation frequency of the usual oscillator is not stable precisely, the accurate time correction can be achieved.

A ring counter composed of D-type flipflops receives the count pulse from the programmable counter. A coincidence detection and control circuit detects a predetermined count value of the ring counter, and modifies the programmed maximum count number of the programmable counter, so that the maximum count value of the programmable counter can be selected from either an ordinary maximum count number or the predetermined maximum count number.

    摘要: This programming arrangement for a non-volatile memory incorporated in the inner circuit of a timepiece for adjusting the frequency of the time base thereof includes a support provided with a connector to be plugged in in place of the energy cell. The rate of division of the frequency divider is adjusted by the introduction into the memory of a number k representative of the frequency difference between the time base frequency and a standard frequency. To effect this the arrangement comprises an electronic circuit external to the timepiece and which is coupled thereto by the connector. The electronic circuit introduces the number k into certain predetermined stages of the divider. When such number k is thus introduced the state of such stages is blocked by the inner circuit of the timepiece such state then being transferred into the non-volatile memory.
